“Welcome, to the multi-verse neighborhood. I’m storm its nice to meet you.”

“The multi-verse neighborhood? What an intriguing name.” the doctor replied, neck rotating almost 180 as he took in his surroundings. Dark yet darker, a glowing darkness that made things visible but without radiating light.
“I am Dr. W. D. Gaster. It is nice to be acquainted with you as well.”
Okay social niceties are out of the way. Now to the really important stuff.
“Are you one of the denizens of this place? Are there others? What do you feed on? Are there distinguishing traits that make your kind unique?”
Gaster stepped closer and closed the distance to where only a handful of inches separated the two. Leaning down with head and back twisting unnaturally, the doctor began observing the other monster’s face and nostrils.
Storm chuckled softly, "Well, its just a nickname was given to this timeline. Its numeric code is 89.07." Truthfully his head rotating caught her off guard, in fact, it would scare most. Taking a deep breath, she calmed herself displaying the same smile that as a great social saver."
"Ah, Gaster. I will make a note of that." She gave a playful wink.
Then the questions came roaring in; he was a curious one, wasn't he? Okay, this would be simple answer the stranger's curiosities. Though, before she could give a proper explanation he was rather close to her. Her cheeks reddened abit flustered and taken back.
“I am... the royal scientist of my timeline. There are others yes, plenty of them, Though the war, unfortunately, took many lives. My species is classified as Gelares or Jellyfish. I feed on vegetation and some meat. I have stingers, though they are hidden in my vertebrae. I also have a biological beating heart connected to my soul.”
“Welcome, to the multi-verse neighborhood. I’m storm its nice to meet you.”

That was interesting. This sort of timeline had a name, he usually just recognized certain elements from Timelines to inform him what he could expect, but he had never really though to give any of them a name. “I suppose I am in that case.” Not that it would really matter whether a Timeline was harmless or not, he had found himself rather unable to die so…he cared little for any sort of threat to his being.
“It is a pleasure to meet you Storm.” He listened to her as she explained how her work had been going. “I think that would be rather interesting, I would love to see the machine.” He was rather interested in seeing how others were able to keep human souls preserved properly, it was rather difficult to get perfectly right, as he knew, though he never really did get much time to tinker with it.
She tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear. Storm had to admit that her ego was being fluffed up abit from his compliments. “I apologize, I didn’t mean to come off as saying you’d be in mortal danger. I am not used to having company most of the time, however, its quite nice to see a friendly face for a change.” She led him through a wide doorway into what looked to be a large room.
The tiles matched the flickering machine lights a solid gray. In the back was the machine described on the blueprints a large box liked shape container with tubes attached to two glass cylinders. Inside were two human soul one that looked to be bravery based and kindness.
“This is the machine, Its alpha 67.1 it uses electrical currents to stimulate the soul's flow. Souls away from their vessel can weaken over time. It's fascinating how strong humans are and yet their soul can fracture easily. Would you like to see the machine in action Gaster?”

“Ah…” Rather interesting where the former scientist had ended up today. A rather strange universe where many monsters seemed to switch places with their others and seem to be exceedingly rude for unknown reasons, but he wasn’t worried about that. At the moment what he cared about was this scientific looking building. With little care for protocol he decided he’d investigate, whether or not the door was locked he was now in said building seeing what discoveries this scientist made.
Storm was finishing up her progress reports for that month’s results on soul preservation. Her eyes shifted, to her screen, it seemed that there was a red light flashing. “That’s odd…” It looked as if the security system had gone off. Getting up she went out of her office. The hallway was oddly quiet most of the workers had gone home for the evening. Most of her nights she had worked overtime which had left her exhausted. The click of her heels echoed through the hallway. Her red irises flickered for a moment. She thought she saw someone or something move past the corner of her vision.
The doctor had certainly seen something, as he quietly scooted his way past them to do some of his researching in the whatever matter she had been working on. Gaster had decided to take note of some papers on her desk and decided to see what she was working on “Very, very…interesting.” He had done some research into soul preservation himself, but he never got to finish due to all his work on The Core, though he knew his successor, Alpyhs in his timeline had figured something out, rather interesting to see how this one would.
A small wafter of suspicion led her back through the hallways. Her heels clicked through the hallway creating echoes. Perhaps Undyne had decided to come back to do some late night research. The notes on her desk looked rather simple if Gaster looked carefully he could see the blueprints of what looked to be a shock machine. Blueprint: Alpha-Soul Preservation Final Model. Her eyes lingered to the hallway as she walked back to her office. Her eyes nearly popped out of her head as she saw the stranger.
She didn’t feel threatened by his presence so the need for action would be put aside. Instead, she found herself to be curious. She spoke lowly keeping her eyes fixated on the stranger. “I wasn’t expecting company, not this late at least. Now, who might you be?”
“Very interesting indeed.” He muttered as he looked through the paperwork. As he heard the voice behind him he turned for a moment to get a look before going back to reading. “Well, inviting myself in is a bit of a hobby of mine I suppose.” He joked. “My name? A rather difficult question to answer. I suppose Gaster will suffice.” Not much point in giving his whole introduction to someone who might not even remember him after he’s left or someone he might not even visit again.
“This is very interesting research you are doing here. Soul preservation is a very difficult practice, I never finished my research on it. Though at least my successor did, I suppose that’s good.”
Storm raised an eyebrow and shook her head before chuckling. “Hm, is that so well you sir are lucky. This is a Swapfell timeline but a mostly harmless one at that.” Storms eyes gazed back to the paperwork and then back to him. His name caused her eyes to dilate abit. “Gaster... It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Storm.”
She smiled abit, “Hm, I see you did caught a glace at my work thank you. I have been working on this device for quite a while.” She seemed to warm up abit he seemed like a friendly face and that was rare in her timeline. “Oh, that's truly inspiring if you'd like I could show you the machine.”
“Storm… I am quite pleased with your progress did I ever tell you how lucky I am to have you as my royal scientist. Come drop by sometime for a cup of tea won’t you~”

* "Quick, pretend to look like you're talking to me." The little devil was suddenly floating at her side , shrinking himself that he could fit on the pal of her hand but instead sat on her shoulder. Looking up at her he gave her a wink then wagged his tail too appear much cuter. Who could he be avoiding?
It almost caught her completely off guard, what an ordeal to be had. Her red irises flickered to the small little devil. She squinted and didn’t flick him off yet. She gave him a nod, “So… care to explain why your sitting on my shoulder?”
