Welp. It’s been a long while since I’ve been on here. I should really start coming back more often. So for anyone who cares, I’m really sorry for being so inactive!

But now I’m back, and I’m back with some cosplay stuff! A few weeks ago me and some friends did a little FNAF group cosplay at a convention. We had photo requests, did an act, ... the whole shebang! Even though our cosplays weren’t really top notch, we had an amazing amount of fun walking around and doing the act together.

I got in the art-imation project that’s being made by red-pencil as one of the “mystery artists” and had the honor to work on frame 72. This frame and the whole project itself was quite the challenge for me as I had to step quite far out of my comfort zone. Obviously it’s nothing fancy like most of the art that’s been submitted (which you can check out through the link provided above), but all by all I’m just happy I got to be part of this.

So above you see the process of this particular frame. I hope you guys like it.

Tonight it’s just a quick sketch of some random character, but it still counts for the streak!

This time around I wanted to focus a bit more on an expression. They are som fun to draw, but I’ve noticed I haven’t done them as much as I wanted lately.

You’re also getting two pictures. This is because I wanted to go with a noseless face at first, but when I saw it on my computer, I thought something was missing. So the second picture is the same one with a nose and some extra details. But what do you guys think? Nose or no nose?

Today was April fools day. So to celebrate that I drew one of the biggest pranksters I could think of.

Not to happy about how this turned out though. I had good hopes, but there’s just so much wrong with it. Oh well. That’s the reason I’m doing this drawing streak thing, right?

But for this day I’ve got a garnet from Steven universe without her swag glasses. I’m really sorry for how crappy her right hand turned out. I put so much effort in everything, but then I just couldn’t bring myself to get that one right. Oh well... If every porkchop was perfect, then we wouldn’t have hotdogs. Sketching daily

I need to practice more. Lets fix that by starting some daily sketch thingy. I’m going to sketch something, upload it daily and try to get a drawing streak going. Maybe I can even set some penalties when I break the streak?

But I’m going to need you guys to provide me with inspiration. So feel free to drop an ask with some random words, your favorite character, a dinosaur, a scenario, or whatever and I might just sketch it.

I made a comic about what it feels like (to me) to cope with having an invisible illness and the judgements and accusations that sometimes come with invisible illnesses.

I did it in green ‘cause that’s the color of the Celiac Awareness ribbon Celiac is one of the “imaginary” “all in your head” “stupid” “hypochondriac” invisible illnesses I live with.

So here. Be nice to people in general, because it’s the right thing to do, but if you can’t at least do that then please don’t be an asshole when someone tells you that they have Lupus or Celiac or Fibromyalgia or any of the other things that we live with every day that you can’t see on the surface.

my mother has Fibromyalgia * very strong chronic pain which come and go without any reason then we know of. * So before you judge someone for not look sick, think about how you would feel if you should be on morphine every day, so that you can have an almost normal life.

Just like the person above me, my mother has fibromyalgia and on top of that her neck and spine are those of a 70y old person who's worked at the docs all their life. And this while she's only in her 40s.

She's seen a lot of doters in a lot of hospitals and most of the times they couldn't really help her or they just put her in the psychiatric wing because they thought she was faking it. And they're not the only ones. People get suspicious of her all the time because one day she's fine and then the other she just has to stay in bed all day long. And it's not just random people. These invisible illnesses are so discreet that even members of our family that have known her for years think it's fake and that she's just addicted to the meds.

It's really hard on her (and on the people around her), but finally she's getting a bit of recognition. They've arranged a parking spot right in front of our house, she's getting help in the household and she's even gotten a complete electrical wheelchair. Even though the recognition is nice, it still hurts her as she knows she can do stuff without all that. She still has her pride and doesn't want to use things like that wheelchair while she knows she can still go without.

She's staying strong.

So as a son of someone who's suffering from one of those invisible illnesses, I want to say thank you to the creator of this comic. It's nice for me to see that more people suffer from this and are sharing their story and after I'm done writing this, I'm going to show her this comic.
