Unruly Neighbors || Seo & Merida
For once, Seo had the whole weekend off. No work that needed her to deal with idiotic people, no classes to attend, just plain relaxing the whole weekend. And what better way to relax than to have a whole mountain of food around you while having a movie marathon?
For her own mini party, she bought herself a large pizza with pieces of chicken, ground beef, and peperoni on it, a two litre bottle of 7 Up, and a bag of sour keys. Tonight, she was going to feast like a king.
She went on her laptop and picked some random movie from the action and adventure category on Netflix, and then connected it to her television using her HDMI cable. Even though she did have a gaming device, she was too lazy to log on there.
The volume was turned up to the max, and Seo actually enjoyed herself. She was in sweat pants, a very comfortable orange tank top, and hair that was so tangled that it could’ve been a bird’s nest. But of course, she had nothing on her feet. Not socks, not slippers.
Just when the movie was going to get good, and the awesome guy with a huge sword was going to chop someone’s head off, someone banged on her door. With a cup full of pop in her hand, she paused the movie and went to the door.
When the brunette opened the door, she saw some girl with very curly red hair standing there. “Why are you here?” she asked. But then, she figured out the answer herself. “I know! You want to join my movie marathon, don’t you?”
“I’m ‘ere for what?” The moment she sees the stranger opening the door, Merida can’t help but raising her brows at the assumption that, of course, she was wanting to get in on the action of whatever movie her upstairs neighbor is watching. Flabbergasted for mere moments, she rests her hands onto her hips and nods her head, glancing away from the stranger and thinking to herself, ‘She can’t be serious.’
However, it wasn’t everyday that someone would give her the time in inviting her to something (that was free). So, the heiress stares at the floor, giving herself moments to think to herself. It hadn’t lasted long, maybe only for seconds, as she snaps her head back up with a grin.
“ ‘Course, I am! Heard it all the ta way down stairs. Had to join in..!” Merida excuses herself, making a bluff of her earlier reason. Though, she looks down at her own outfit and realizes she is quite informal for the get-up: log gray yoga pants and a baseball t-shirt with the logo for the Tartan Army (National Scottish football team). This was definitely her type of event, who the hell needs to dress up nicely when you can dress up comfortably?
“So, what are ya’ watchin’ ?” Merida asks while pushing back the long curyl strands from her face and releasing a small huff.
