Diego stared at the spoon that was being held towards him, his bemused expression growing with each centimeter closer the icy treat was brought. He supposed it didn’t sound bad; while he wasn’t fond of sweet things, fruits were just about right, so it wouldn’t hurt to try. Not that Johnny was giving him much of a choice here.

“Alright, fine.”

Opening his mouth, he leaned forwards to eat the spoonful of frozen yogurt that was offered to him.

“Whoever said we’re going to be a thing?” Midorima huffed immediately in response, carrying an expression that just shows he’s irritated to no bounds, with a slight flush behind it. He crossed his arms and pushed his glasses up the bridge of his noise as he continues.

“I do not remember us being a thing, and it will never be a thing. Besides, don’t use that word so lightly, it irritates me.”

If it wasn’t for the other’s flushed cheeks, Diego probably would have retorted by now, answering the taller male’s harsh words with a sharp tongue of his own. But instead of annoyance, he simply felt nothing but humour from his current companion’s bitter attitude; bristling despite the rosy glow on his expression that couldn’t be hidden.

“I wouldn’t argue with you about that. Can’t you take a compliment without making a fuss over it, Shintaro? Honestly, you try and be nice to some people and this is what you get in return...”
