Someone PLEASE PELASEEEEEEEEE help me find a hannigram post fall fanfic. I only remember a scene from it. Hannibal finds Will's old marriage ring in his room and they argue?? but will has only kept those ring to pawn them off. It was on AO3. I swear I had it bookmarked. bUt now I can't find it 😭 it was such a beautiful fanfic
Literally that's all I remember from the fic 😭😭 it was post fall.
Hannibal (2013-2015)
at the end of the day no one can outfreak hannigram because hannibal attempted time travel and got himself arrested because will broke up with him and will forgot he had a wife and a kid because of a man that previously gutted him like a fish #truelove
was it casual when he stabbed you in his kitchen, a place no different than his own personal shrine, and embraced your bleeding body thinking it could be the first and last time he was doing so? was it casual when he slashed your daughter figure's throat next, in front of you, letting her bleed out and die in a kitchen; where she was always meant to die, her father's kitchen? was it casual when he realised it was too late and that you had already changed him, you wanted the rare gift he gave you, but he didn't know that?
Hannibal (2013-2015)
Hannigram + in sync/mirroring each other
Hannibal (2013-2015)
“You and I have begun to blur… We’re conjoined. I’m curious whether either of us can survive separation.”
So. These are...Hannibal Lecter.
These two? I don't even know. A feral, desperate creature.
And this. This is Hannibal. Will's Hannibal.
Hannibal really went from
to
I am going crazy over this.

Hunger is obviously a major theme in Hannibal—it’s literally the cannibal show—but the difference in how that’s portrayed with Hannigram is intriguing.
Hannibal was starving for connection before he had Will, and then everything changed for him. As Bedelia tells Will, “Did he daily feel a stab of hunger, and find nourishment at the very sight of you? Yes.” Hannibal’s hunger is sated by so much as the sight of Will. A mere look at him is enough to satisfy him.
But Will is different. Rather than being sated by his connection with Hannibal, it is the very thing that makes him hungry. There’s a frame in the Italy chapter that makes it look like he’s trapped in a starvation cage. In the script for his sailing scene, he’s literally described to look hungry:
Both Hannibal and Will have a possessive, obsessive, all-consuming love for one another, but it affects them quite differently. Hannibal is nourished by the very sight of Will, but for Will, no amount of the profound attention he experiences from Hannibal can fully sate his hunger—it’s a high he can’t help but chase. It fuels his pathological need to return to Hannibal again and again, no matter how self-destructive it is. I think this is why Will is more outwardly possessive of Hannibal than Hannibal is of Will. Hannibal wants Will to be his; Will wants Hannibal to be no one else’s. Both forms of possession, but Will’s is more jealous because of the way he experiences Hannibal’s attention. It’s a high, it’s a hunger—it’s a need, not a want.
I’m stunned! This is one of the best explanations of why Will comes across as clearly more possessive and jealous as Hannibal.
godddd im rewatching s3e8 for the first time, and like. the way it's so apparent that the only person who understands will and truly cares about him is hannibal. hannibal is his only friend.
like, jack understands will enough to know that doing this case would be horrible for will, but doesnt care about him enough to not ask him to work on the case.molly cares enough about will to defend him to jack, but doesn't know him enough to understand what working on the case would do to will. alana isn't even in the picture.
the only friend will has is hannibal, who understands what will is probably going through even though he hasn't seen him in 3 years. like hannibal said in season 1, "I don't care about the lives you save, I care about your life".
and it grates on will, the fact that hannibal is still the only one he has, grates on him enough that he disregards hannibal's advice. hannibal did so many fucked up things to will, but maybe the most fucked up thing was that he was still the best friend will ever had.
patrick jane truly is a character of all time. he's arrogant. he's broken. he's haunted. he's funny. he's genuinely delighted by small pleasures. he likes breaking and entering. he's a tea snob. he's tortured frequently on screen. he flinches every time a gun goes off. he hides behind his female colleagues when he gets scared. he's a sociopath. he's a liar. he does magic tricks. he has basically no moral compass and will do anything to catch the guy who killed his wife and child, including lie to and use everyone he cares about. he sleeps on a mattress on the floor in the room his family was murdered in, with the calling card of their killer still on the wall. he loves children. he's very empathetic. he's the reason his family is dead. he loves setting traps and catching people in lies. he hates rich people and doesn't care when they get murdered. he's a card shark. he always knows what everyone is thinking. when people piss him off he makes their lives miserable. he hypnotises people all the time. he's a con man. he's the most honest guy you'll ever meet. like literally where else do you find a freak like that.
