It's really funny when someone calls me a "white European colonizer" online for being Jewish when I'm literally an American Mizrahi (Mizrahi are in fact NOT from Europe at all??)

It makes me so sad that the Jewish tags on this website are almost all negative, almost all about the state of the world and antisemitism. I think for the wellness of our people and all of us, we need to celebrate in being Jewish, and not just as a reaction as to how the world is treating us right now.

Being Jewish will never be easy.

But I think we NEED to show more positivity in our lives, as well as here! The world will never treat us well, and I really believe we should come together to make it so that when we go to these tags, we feel good and strong about us as a people.

I want to see more happy posts, posts about Jewish resilience, posts celebrating.

The world is bad to us. This will never not be true.

But let's carve out a place of joy here, for everyone's wellbeing
