My backrooms story is that I watched the backrooms YouTube videos for the first time a few years ago and had an intense moment of deja vu because the abandoned mall he filmed at was the one in Dallas I used to go to with my friend occasionally as a kid when it was open, and it was just a forgotten enough memory I was internally screaming the entire time

Comparison of Valentine's first and second dolls.

The newer one has a bit more of a purple undertone, and of course that gorgeous screening. The older one's screening is pretty par for the course of MH boys at the time, but the new one is so much more striking, with the eyeliner and sharp brows.

So congrats Val, on being the only SDCC boy doll to ever get a second doll. (So far.)

I kept thinking how as a child Alastor has witnessed the abuse his mother suffered through and in IF he is going through the same thing...

(and a little bit in Forced Broadcast, but it never gets nearly as bad)

If anyone compared his and his mother's situations though he would brush it off and say that his "situation" is nothing comparing to what was happening to her, and that there is actually nothing bad happening to him and he is fine!

And maybe he's partially right, like, he has at least some power over Vox and Vox has at least something that could be called "love" for him (which doesn't make it better if you think about it), while his mom could only pray her husband would be in a good mood today and won't be (too) drunk or/and violent.
