This goes for anybody, even girls who have shaved their heads. Don’t alienate people ever. You don’t know anybody’s story. So mind your own and don’t look at people like they are disgusting. please don’t feel bad for not being able to love yourself!

loving yourself is a long and difficult process and it involves a lot of deprogramming yourself from the harmful bullshit that society and people have told you. you shouldn’t be made to feel weak or a failure for struggling with that.

take your time, and when you do feel able to love yourself, it’ll be wonderful and genuine and not a rushed fake thing

You will lie to everyone you love. They will love you anyways. One day you’ll wake up and realize that you are too big for your own skin. Molt. Don’t be afraid. Your body is a house where the shutters blow in and out against the windowpane. You are a hurricane-prone area. The glass will break through often. But it’s okay. I promise. Remember, a stranger once told you that the breeze here is something worth writing poems about.

In case any of my followers were wondering what I look like currently. The picture of me on the left was taken on September 29, 2012 and the picture on the right was taken during my Spring Break trip to CO on March 27, 2013. I know almost a month ago, but look at my ridiculous face!
