Big fan of the hc of Gary and Pete being childhood friends. They probably went through Bullworth’s middle school years together, Pete was probably Gary’s first pawn attempt too.

I do think they bonded over being “smarter” than everyone else and had crude, homophobic humour about the other cliques that was initiated, fuelled by, and then later turned against Pete by Gary during the events of the game.
