That's the word he kept hearing around. "Is that like some new food? Can I have some?" Oh the poor stupid child....
It had been a normal trip to the local computer store. The poor boy had just bought a brand new mouse for the second time, as his old one was heartlessly crushed by ‘accident’. The culprit being his own younger sister. It’s like she doesn’t know about that monster strength of hers, and ‘clumsily’ smashed his mouse. Shintarou was minding his own business when suddenly something smacked the back of his head at 1927697123012 miles per hour.
"AUGH!" Had he been shot? That was a pretty accurate headshot, so was he going to die now? Oh lord, please not yet! If he died now, his A.I would surely release his top secret files for the world to see. No matter what, he couldn’t die now! “.. Please, don’t let me die…!” The NEET cried out pitifully, as he dropped to his knees. That’s when he realized what he’d been hit with.
A… CD…? Before he knew it, someone was apologizing to him. How embarrassing for the ravenette… "Ah… No, it’s fine. Just pretend you didn’t see anything, okay?"
☀Did he hit this guy so hard he was going crazy?
"Ummm..... Are you okay....?"
Screaming, it was all he heard. But, of course, who could blame the guy.... Shouyou would probably scream too if he got shot in the head with a CD. Though, that was something that even he was sure wouldn't really happen, even if he was the one who made it happen in the first place.
"I think this guy is crazy...."
This guy just kept shouting he would die. Back away slowly, was his first thought. He was scared he would get himself involved in something bad. Mom always said never to go near crazy people. It was just a precaution he had to take. Then he heard normal words come from the guy.
"Scratch that.... He IS crazy..."
"Um... sure... But you have a huge bruise on your forehead.... Are you going to be fine...?"
{ ♫ } Aw, man. He beat him to it. Hiroyuki pouted, but got over it as quickly as he felt the disappointment, “Haaah… Does it taste good?”
☀ Sudden guilt began to take over. Don't look at me like that, please. The disappointment on the guys face hurt. "Um... Y-yeah.... I guess."
"Heheh~ The last pork bun is mine!!" He felt so triumphant over such a small victory. Nothing could ruin this for him! At least, that's what he thought.
Her day started out wonderfully; it was a nice day, her schedule for the day was free, and she had money in her pockets for once! It would have stayed nice too, should she have not gotten nailed in the face with a cd while passing a bench.
The pigtailed girl stopped and picked it up, rubbing the side of her cheek. Reaching into her jacket pocket, she pulled out a small compact and examined her face, relieved to see there was just a red mark and no cut. Placing it back in her pocket, she turned around and looked at the direction the disc had come from.
Ignoring his apology, she started toward him, drumming her fingers on the cd’s case. “It’s not polite to throw things at girls, you know. That’s not a good way to get their attention at all!”
☀Please don't stare at me like that...
Of all the people he could of hit, of course it's a cute girl. Not to mention, she didn't look happy with what just happened. Just his luck...
"I-I said sorry....."
This girl was acting like he meant to throw it at her! Well, in Shouyou's mind it seemed like that. He could never really tell. All he assumed was that she was angry, which made it even harder to look at her. In short, he was scared and too dense to realize that she probably wasn't as mad as he actually thought. Poor thing began to shake a little.
"I swear it was an accident!"
Please don't breaki it, please don't break it! As sorry as he was, he soon became fixated on the disc in her hand. Her tapping on the case, the way she stared at him. His poor, poor favorite cd... It looked like she was holding it hostage
"C-can I have it back...?"
"Nice to meet you HIntata-kun."
"Ummm.... It's 'Hinata'."
Now, Milo wasn’t that angry at all— he was just a little peeved. But, this other student’s reaction was entertaining in every sense of the word— the stutter, the seeming appearance of chills, it seemed… like he was scared.
Oh, perfect.
Staring at the other all the while, Milo slowly bent down, picking up the CD in his thin fingers before the other could reach it.
Lips curling into a smile, the young man drawled lightly, “I assume this is yours…?" A glance at the disk, and Milo held it out.
But now… he was smiling? Was he not irritated anymore? Oh, no. He was still pretty irritated. It was just that the prospect of scaring the other greatly outweighed that irritation.
☀ Shouyou's first though, "End me now...."
No way that this was happening. He couldn't do anything about it. The poor boy could only stand there with his eyes following the movement of his CD. He definitely wasn't getting it back, was he...?
"Y-Yeah.... T-That's m-m-mine....."
It took him a moment to realize this, but, the other guy was smiling. He felt another shiver run through his body. This was getting really creepy really fast. Poor thing just could believe this. All because he accidentally threw the CD at him. He wasn't even sure how that happen! The odds were definitely not in his favor.
Don't look at me like that...
"C-Can I h-h-ave i-t back...?"
As much as Milo hated going to school, he did have to go every-so-often to pick up his work and other various materials— at least he had worked out a deal to do the work necessary from the safe confines of his lovely, dark room.
Just the thought almost brought a smile to his face.
…The keyword was almost.
The moment his lips began to curl in that infamous expression of contentment, a flat, round, something flew and hit the recluse right… in the middle of his forehead.
His eyebrow twitched, and the tall young man hissed out a single, low, word. “…What.”
☀ This was SO not his day...
His cd... Right to another student's forehead... How did he let this happen? Shouyou could practically feel the heat radiating out of the poor guy. There was no doubt that the guy was angry with him. There was no doubt... That if Shouyou didn't leave soon... He would disappear, to put in softer terms.
"I-I-I-I s-s-said I-I'm s-s-s-sorry...!!"
A chill ran down his spine at that moment. He was shaking all over. He was starting to feel sick again. He had to leave immediately. But, his eyes gazed down at the poor disc lying on the floor next to this... Not so happy man.
This was not fun. SOOOO not fun. He inched over carefully. Hazel eyes fixated on the cd because he was scared to look this guy in the face.
"I-I-I j-just need m-my CD...!"
"Sorry, I’m Natsume Asako, and you are?"
"Nice to meet you! My name is Hinata Shouyou!"
☀ "I swear I had it a minute ago!!"
Sitting all alone by himself, frantically searching his bag for something important. The CDs he needed to play later, his favorite one was lost in the disorganized mess he call his backpack.
"There!!"
Deep, deep within that mess, his eyes began to shine seeing the his desired CD in his sight. He practically threw his hand into his bag to get it, pulling it out.... And watching as it flew full force out of his grasp, directly to the head of the poor person who happened to walk by.
"I-I-I....... I'M SORRY!!"
"Oh no.... Oh god... I'm SO screwed......."
"I know, isn’t it."
"Y-Yeah!! This is great!! Ummm... Who are you...?"
"Ahhhhh...... T-This place i-is a lot bigger than I t-thought..."
