I wish, we saw some scenes with Aemond interacting with Jaehaerys and Jaehaera, and his reaction to Jaehaerys' death. I love thinking, that our violent and distant one-eyed prince, who was described as "wild" and "bad-tempered", had a soft spot for them and loved those kids dearly, – especially Jaehaera. I'm pretty sure, that she was his little special princess. Like, I don't know. Aemond was so loyal to his family and despite everything, he loved it. I think, he saw himself in those twins, maybe they even reminded him of his own childhood, and they were so pure, innocent and naive, that he started wanting to protect them desperately, – just like Aegon and Helaena. Imagine his emotions, when he understood, that Jaehaerys had been killed, because of him, because of what he had done to Luke. That Helaena went mad and Jaehaera was left all alone, constantly asking where her twin-brother had gone and not understanding, that he would never come back to her. The potential was literally ENDLESS.

In my mind modern!au Aemond Targaryen is not a womanizer or a metalhead. Like, did we even watch the same show? He is a straight-A student and a fucking nerd. He likes pretentious history/philosophy books. Also, he's a damn nihilist and reads Nietzsche on a daily basis. People used to bully him in middle school, and he still has no friends. He really doesn't know how to interact with his classmates, and tries to hide his awkwardness with coldness. He's always alone during the lunch break, because Aegon chooses to ignore him and chat with his friends instead, and Helaena is perfectly fine alone. There are lots of rumors about him and his missing eye, – and some people state, that he has lost it after hitting one guy's head with a rock. It's seems plausible, because despite his mysterious attitude, he has A VERY bad temper, and gets into a lot of fights and arguments (because of that, some teachers dispute, if he should be on honor roll). He's the president of a debate club, the most hated local tutor, and he thinks, that his grades define him. He's running on 2 hours of sleep and a huge amount of caffeine, AND YES, he's allergic to happiness, so he's going to be a part of his family's business.
