デス ・ロンパ | Death Refute  “Allow me to explain your circumstances…”

O1. I cannot tell you where this place is. O2. We will soon have you play a game. O3. The game you play will be decided by a roulette. O4. You will risk your lives in this game. O5. You will not be allowed to leave until the game is over.

Death Refute is a submission-based roleplaying group with the combined elements of Dangan Ronpa and Death Parade. A group of people find themselves in Novem, a strange bar tended by a peculiar bartender who informs them that they must play a game in which they will stake their lives in order to leave the vicinity. The game runs on a two-week schedule, and will accept a total of twenty characters. Applications are currently set to open in early June.

cause of death: uh?? i’m not totally clear on what exactly it what but. basically noriaki followed in suit of his wave 1 and let his fears/anxieties lead him to his death,, he doesn’t usually drink at parties but he got himself Way Too Anxious about ~things~ and got a little too drunk and did something unwise that resulted in his death -_-’’ maybe tried to drive himself home or something you get the dealio role: assistant judgement: ??? who knows but. whenever he gets judged i could see him being sent to the void tbh but i’m not sure;; he’s probably kimi’s assistant (free her) and she’s basically babysitting him tbh,, he doesn’t take Any of it seriously. he gets really into watching the games the players take part in, flirts with his arbiter, flirts with the guests;; he’s honestly just having a good time. he isn’t even that concerned about why he’s there honestly?? even realizing again that he died is just “oh. huh. anyway” he doesn’t really care. he also looks really unprofessional because he wears a suit jacket with a hoodie underneath ([bri voice] that’s the enrique look) 

but he’s probably pretty good at making the players feel comfy and getting them to push the button quickly because he’s so chill and friendly -_- he also sits on the bar counter half the time when people arrive he has no respect he needs some Discipline, (he also... doesn’t realize that he’s starting to crumble until like. half of his forearm is all crumbly because he’s too concerned about having a Good Time smh,, didn’t even think he needed to be judged, ,, )

cause of death: assuming he can still follow how things happen with his canon/current self, he probably dies in the incident where he got the scar on his face instead of Surviving like he does,,, dies in the hospital instead of waking up after being out for a while rip;; role: player judgement: maybe reincarnation? he probably wouldn’t have really. done anything void-worthy,, he’d be a lot more upset about the entire thing tbh,, he Feels his emotions more.. .. . but he probably wouldn’t resort to any dirty tricks during the game?? tbh he’d more be the type to get hecked over by his opponent because he’s not very clever,,, -_- probably gets even more distressed upon realizing he’s Dead because [haruhiro voice] “i... wanted to go to the olympics and i left behind the person i Cared About A Lot” rip this boy’s dreams he could’ve had it all..

cause of death: honestly eizo’s cause of death would be pretty mundane?? just like. he gets hit by a car while crossing the street one day and it’s actually just a total accident - o - nothing spectacular for a Normal Dude role: player  judgement: reincarnation?? eizo hasn’t really. done anything to deserve the void he’s not really?? too broken up about finding out he’s dead tbh,,, a little disappointed that he died so young and left his family behind but he didn’t really have any long term goals or anything that he didn’t accomplish so [eizo voice] this is fine -_-’’ he’s probably his normal intimidating but not actually harmful self during the game too? doesn’t really know what to think of the whole thing tbh so he just goes along with it;; he also.. plays honestly but he’s more difficult to get a jump on because he’s kind of smart when he needs to be -_-

If Eizō was even slightly intimidated at the thought of playing alongside the other soccer shsls, Hidenori supposed he could do to feel a little more terrified! Still, the striker was definitely one to turn fear into excitement, so he supposed it was because of that and only that that he was able to maintain his cool…somewhat.

“Well, you’re right, it is plenty exciting! I could do to be a little more enthusastic, yeah? Even if they’re really, really good, that won’t mean anything if we’re not all able to get along, y’know?”

He lets out a light laugh before readying himself to sprint.

“Alright then, let’s race! <Three, two, —!>” 

Without even saying ‘one’ Hidenori’s down the hall, running despite the no-running-in-the-hallways rule imposed by the school. Miss practice? With his swiftness, the striker (and hopefully his companion) would be on the field in no time!

Good, Hidenori didn’t seem troubled over the situation anymore. If he could maintain a relatively successful conversation on the fly with one of his teammates, then hopefully winning over the rest of them would go just as well.

“...It’s just as natural to be intimidated, Onodera-san. I wouldn’t say that being nervous is wrong in this situation, yes? I’m still it’ll all work out eventually, either way.”

His hand fell to his side as Hidenori took the bag from him and he went to adjust his own on his shoulder, seeing the other get into a readied stance.

He couldn’t say that he was expecting the striker to completely forgo the announcement of ONE “one,” though, as classic it might have been, and his fingers were still curled around the strap of his bag before he was hurriedly speeding after his newfound teammate, the soles of his sneakers hitting the tile.

Was there a no-running-in-the-halls rule here? Eizō… hoped not; he didn’t really need a mark on his record, but, if anything, he seemed more focused on just catching up to Hidenori than actually beating him! Then again… a striker’s position was more than likely more focused on speed than his own role as centre-back was, so if Hidenori beat him to the field, then… that wouldn’t really be surprising, right?
