Wait what. Nagisi tentatively took the card, looking it over for her name and occupation. Apparently the more people you body slam the more business contact you acquire. At his next show he was gonna go crowd surfing. Nagisi began to dust himself off, and anything that didn’t immediately disappear got treated roughly with a hankie, which appeared in his hand at command. Dirt sucked.

"Allllrighty then. Food it is. Although I should probably introduce myself- Mizuki?- my name is Nagisi Konorona, the Super High School Level Magician, hence the suit, tie, and nice hat. I’ll let you lead the way, since you obviously had an idea, and I’ll just follow behind for now? I do need to pay you back for my unseemly fall."

The thaumaturgist moved behind her and gestured forward, the card and kerchief both disappearing in his hand as he did so. If he was behind her, this time he would only fall on his own butt. An embarrassed smile overtook the look of slight pain, just work through it Konorona, like a magic trick.

Mizuki nodded, sticking her hands inside of her skirt pockets to keep warm. With another short glance at Nagisi she replied, "Mizuki Maki, yes... You're a magician, Konorona-san? What kind of tricks do you do? Or what's your favorite?... I haven't seen that kind of stuff before... My parents always said magic wasn't real. Cheap card tricks and stuff..." The designer's mood lightened, and noted the boy's kerchief popping up out of nowhere. Well, his title didn't come out of nowhere, that was for sure. Still, she wasn't certain magic was real - there had to be a way he was doing that - but it did look cool.

"Do magicians always wear suits..? I knew about the top hat thing... There's a rabbit or something in there, right?" It was obvious Mizuki didn't get out very much. Especially as a kid. The suited boy did catch her interest, at least. She didn't seem to be as pissed off about being crashed into as she did earlier. Maybe a magic trick would improve the guy's chances of getting on her good side, but he was already buying her lunch. He shouldn't have needed to do anything else.

She led Nagisi to the school cafeteria, only taking a few minutes. The designer already knew the entirety of what she wanted, a small grin coming upon her lips at the thought. Before they entered the lunch line, Mizuki turned to the magician, obviously curious about something, "...So... Do you play shows or...? Are you in a circus or something...? I don't know anything about magic at all.. Or do you do it on the street?"

Seijoru sat up slowly. His body shook in mild discomfort before he was completely sitting up in his piles of paper and art supplies. “Ngh… fuck, that hurt…” Sei complained, shifting enough to get a can of spray paint out from under his bum.

As soon as some of the scattered items were placed in front of him, Sei looked up. “Oh, ya didn’t have to help.” he said with his usual neutral expression. “But thanks. I haven’t been havin’ the greatest luck lately, and this just takes the cake.” Eventually Sei stood up, stretched, and bent down to flip the box back over and start filling it with supplies.

"Hey, could you hand me that over there?" he asked, pointing to the stylized portrait of himself he had drawn.

Mizuki shook her head, still picking up some of Sei's scattered supplies, "It's okay... This has happened to me a lot before, too... It's even worse with sewing needles and fabric." A small smile took her lips, suddenly happy to be able to help someone that had experienced the same thing as her.

"O...Oh, really...? What happened...? Did you fall down different stairs...?" It seemed like she tried to make a joke, but it didn't quite deliver. Mizuki's attempts at humor didn't usually go very well. She continued to collect various papers and things, until the artist himself directed her to the portrait. With a nod, she picked it up gently, briefly looking at it before handing it to him. Her eyes widened some, she said, "...You're really good... What kind of artist are you...?"

In the designer's experience, there were several types of artists - he could've been anything. She would admit that he was particularly good at painting, though.

"Ah, sorry for the weird question... When I had long hair I tired it back a lot, so..."

"And you're welcome..! Where are you from, Yahola-san...? What's your talent..?"

"Goldstein... Are you foreign...?" Mizuki returned the bow, rather embarrassed. She felt nervous when Moku blatantly looked at her, and touched the bottom frills of her skirt, "SHSL Gothic Lolita Designer... It makes more sense now, right..?"

"...Yeah, I feel bad for them... Hopefully they're SHSL Employees."

"It's okay... SHSL Luck? How does that work...? Do you always win at the slot machines or something..?"

Despair Days Updates (08.07.2014) - Application & Info Updates

Good Morning! Thank you to everyone who has showed so much support and friendly reception to Despair Days. It means so much that everyone has been so warm and supportive for the success of this group. I truly thank you all from the bottom of my heart! I hope that Despair Days will be a great experience for anyone and everyone involved. Thank you again!
