A not-so frozen heart? (OPEN)
Something wasn't right. Well, a lot of things weren't right, but there was one thing in particular that didn't add up at this moment.
Rina stood in the middle of the ticket booth area, breathing heavily and staring a a picture that she shakily held. Upon first look, she thought the twins in the picture looked familiar, but all together uninteresting. However, when she turned the picture over everything changed. A wave of anxiety flooded throughout her body, leaving her panicked and confused. For the first time since arriving here, she was experiencing pure emotion, and it wasn't a pleasant feeling.
Hikaru and Haruka Aizawa were Rina's twin younger siblings, and it made no logical sense to Rina as to why they would be in that picture. She couldn't remember her siblings going to Hope's Peak. Her heart pounded as her anxiety increased. How much had her memories been altered? On top of that, they were with her classmates...so were they in her class?
Rina clutched her forehead with her hand, and pressed her other hand to her heart, still holding the picture. She paced around the area trying to make sense of the situation, for once not caring if anyone saw. She felt as if her heart would never stop pounding, as if she'd never gain control of her breathing. Slowly, she stumbled over to a wall and slid down it until she was sitting almost collapsed on the ground.
Hikaru and Haruka Aizawa were the only two people Rina cared about in the world, and here they were in what she could only think was a class picture. With Rina's classmates. Rina's class had been taken to this crazy city. Why weren't they here? What happened to them? Rina's mind could only think of the worst, and she buried her head in her hands and let her blonde hair drape over her shoulders like a curtain protecting her from the outside world.
