first of all, I’m really surprised that people actually enjoyed this one. i’m currently almost finished with my other wonu fic, it’s kind of similar to this, so stay tuned, apples! i wouldn’t say this was my first fic when i posted it on my blog. actually, it was inspired by a visual novel game i played back in 2023, you guys can try finding it on itch.io. and honestly, this is just a self-indulgent fic from when I used to pack my own lunchbox in school (i still do, because I’m a picky eater). yeah, you could say i wrote this because i’m a picky eater lol.

again, another reader favorite. idk why people love this so much because it was literally based on a real-life event OMG WHY 😭😭. don’t worry guys, it’s not that deep tbh, i wasn’t in a relationship OR even a situationship, bruh. it’s not 100% accurate, but hey, at least the guy bought me a foxdungee plushie LMFAO. i didn’t even like him, ugh. anyway, the ending was actually inspired by a kdrama i was emotionally attached to, i love Crash Landing on You so much. i also wanted to touch on that, even being in a relationship with a class difference always feels heavy, no matter how much love you pour into it one is drowned by insecurity, while the other doesn't fully grasp those fears. both could have their own struggles, and it's not their fault that they love differently. self-erasure could be depressing, pls take care of yourself and love yourself more.

once again, another reader favorite. i think i’ve kept this “reader’s favorite” streak going for so long that it makes me feel like my butt cheeks are clenched from the pressure lol. anyway, as i was saying, this is one of the best fics i’ve ever written. my readers always comment that it’s really fun to read, very engaging and silly. it was supposed to be a oneshot, but i ended up writing over 20k words, i think (?). i love how they always mention how much they enjoy the mc’s dynamic with everyone. growing up watching dramas, reading, and everything, i’ve always been attached to supporting/minor characters, so i feel like they play a bigger role even as background characters. i love lee chan so much in this fic, and soonhoon too, they’re just so goofy.

i have to be honest, at first i only posted it as a preview, but the amount of people who liked it was so unexpected. what can i do, man. i suddenly became someone important in a day. this is actually inspired by one of the japanese novel series. i also like reading jpn horror media, especially novels and some of their vn games. when i tell you, they do not play with their horror series, it’s way more intense and horrifying lol. this one isn’t as terrifying since i myself couldn’t even handle most of it. i also enjoyed making complex characters, this one was different from what i’ve written in my other fics. if you want to know more about the details, you can find the ask here!

omg, this is probably one of my proudest fics i’ve ever written. btw, i just recently posted this tho, pls go and check it out! i posted it during mental health awareness month, so it’s very special to me :). i was writing this while listening to untitled 2014 - gdragon. to be frank, i never really saw the appeal of forbidden love, it’s just romeo and juliet all over again. but then i stumbled upon a song called “romeo and cinderella,” and while people tend to focus on the parts about sex, i feel like the message itself is actually really tragic. while one yearns for a happy ending like cinderella, her love life instead turns into a juliet tragedy. both chan and the reader are childhood friends despite having polar opposite personalities. from there, you can see chan is portrayed as a carefree, easygoing, and funny guy, but he has a fear of inadequacy. while he can understand others, he still struggles to regulate himself when it involves his own feelings or someone he cares about. he can read people better than he realizes, but he still lets validation and ego affect him more than he admits. the reader’s personality is more misunderstood, just because you struggle to express your feelings doesn’t mean you lack emotion, and hey, it’s okay to still be confused and not try to figure yourself out too much, which can also lead to depression. it reminds me of that one gose episode where the specialist talked about chan, how his generosity could lead him into depression too, because he really cares about what people think of him :(. so yeah, there’s a bit of fairytale metaphor in there, and i also highlighted unhealthy attachment. i’m not sure if it’s well written, but do let me know about it!
