like i'm really not kidding when i say THREE MONTHS AGO

okay, so obviously one of you is waiting for me to post a "wah wah my feelings are sooooo hurt mean anon was mean" post or something. but, like, no? because you're so off the mark it's not even funny?

i was planning on apologizing for what this looks like, but you know what? i don't really feel like it anymore. if you had come to me and told me how you felt, i would have been happy to listen to you and talk with you, because believe it or not i know what this looks like. and i hate that it looks like i jumped ship. i hate how this all worked out because whether you believe me or not, the plan always was to keep both sites going. and i hate that one of you felt the need to go on anon and act like a dickbutt.

if you want to know why tc really closed, look at the active topics. look at how many new members have stuck around. look at how often there's been activity in the cbox. if you really didn't see this one coming, then i don't know what to tell you. but i'm not sorry that all four of us came together, talked about what we wanted to do, and decided as a team that closing tc would be the best thing to do. i'm not sorry that jamie and i opened a new site, because we've been planning this one for over three months and we talked the whole thing through with each other and megs and meredith to make sure what we were doing was okay.

i'm not going to let one immature pissed off coward who can't even show his face ruin anything for me. you didn't hurt my feelings. you just proved that you never knew who i was in the first place and that i shouldn't waste my time trying to maintain relationships that never existed.

to everyone else, i truly hope that you'll be able to look past any hurt feelings you may have and believe me when i say this is just an extremely unlucky coincidence. i hope you know me well enough to know that i'm not the kind of person who jumps ship for a ship. and wow it just hit me that this is so not what i expected to be saying in my "so long it's been real" spiel but oh well. seriously though, y'all. it's been great fun and i'll miss it.

so, like, for the four of you who might have noticed my post in the activity check...

cause yeah roscoe's supposed to be my Main Character, or whatever, but now that i'm working full time i need to recognize when i've taken on too much, and roscoe has always been too much. he's always had like fifteen threads going at once while the others had a more manageable amount, and if i want to be a productive roleplayer and an active staff member and a functioning member of society with a full-time job, i need to do some serious cut backs.

so roscoe had to go. reggie went, too, because she has no plot. mavis might be next, if all the people she's currently threading with don't pass the check.

i'm really sorry to everyone who is threading with those characters. i'll miss our threads and plots, and i hope we can do things with my remaining characters, instead!
