OH MY GOD I REMEMBERED MY PASSWORD
Bitch, Please.
You’re just afraid that you’re going to give in and adopt them all, aren’t you? I don’t really see that as a bad thing. I can see you in a house full of puppies. Maybe I’ll get you one for Christmas?
Don't you even fucking think about it, sunshine. My home is a strictly animal free zone which means no dogs, cats, fish, turtles or you.
Bitch, Please.
If I see another fucking sad animal shelter commercial I'm going to set them all on fire. Yet another reason why I hate Christmas.
Strange Situations // Gabe&MJ
Mary Jane raised an eyebrow as the string of questions fell from his mouth, the corner of hers tugging upward in a combination of a smirk and a smile. “I can’t recall how that happened actually, but I have taken up an interest in skinny dipping lately.” she teased lightly. “Now, why would I lie about this?” questioning his attitude, she turned slightly and pulled down the sleeve of her dress so it was around her chest, exposing the shoulder and the fresh, rough, spiral shaped imprint that stood out there. “It wasn’t me that started it, promise, this is just the result of being somewhat stabbed with a metal stencil.” grinning, she continued, “And needle scrapes are what thimbles are used to prevent,” she amending with a playful roll of her eyes as she pulled her dress sleeve back up.
Tilting her head to the side, she took in what he was telling her, she raised an eyebrow once he’d finished. “As riveting as that sounds, I think you’d much rather enjoy free food, and,” she paused for a second, seeming to cut herself off before attempting to cover it up with, “whatever else I think of doing afterward,” she told him, an offhandedness underpinning her tone, before a laugh escaped her, “Now get in the car, I still don’t want to drink my ice cream as much as I don’t want to be stabbed with a blunt knife.”
Opening and closing the door once she was in, she settled herself in the drivers side and turned on the engine before waiting for him to get in to the car. Mary Jane turned on the radio and smiled when a song she recognized came on and began to sing as she rolled down the passenger side window; “I’m calling ‘cause I need you, you know I need you so desperately”, continuing to sing lightly under her breath, turning her attention to Gabe. “I’d suggest getting in because I am not above serenading you in a parking lot with a song that talks about having ‘Nothing on but the Radio,’” placing air quotes around the lyrics, she shot him a wink and began to count down from three in her head - guessing it would take him less time to get into the car at the prospect of being serenaded by her in a public place.
Gabe was about to comment on the skinny dipping, probably some half-insult that hid his true want to actually see her naked, but hadn't got the words out before Mary Jane was tugging her sleeve down and exposing a spiral shaped scab. His usual frown deepened harshly and he stared at it for a moment, "I hope you fucking stabbed all those fucking fashion bitches, dearest... or is that the reason you're back in this fucking shit hole? Did little Miss Mary Jane get scared of a few stencils and pens?"
He raised a harsh, teasing eyebrow at her and crossed his arms over his chest. As she spoke again Gabe had to admit that sounded like a pretty acceptable evening. He hadn't had anything that wasn't nuked in the microwave in weeks. Besides, living in your dead grandmother's old house all alone can get a bit depressing. But he wasn't too happy with Mary Jane; still hurt that she had just up and left him. Even though he knew that wasn't the case. She had a great opportunity and so she took it. Nonetheless, it didn't stop him from being hurt and angry about it. About her going off and living her dream while Gabe still had no direction. And even though she had put some of his broken pieces back together again after they had met, new ones had chipped away since she'd left and he hadn't seemed to have changed at all. The only thing that had changed about him was that he'd gone from college student, to drop out, to bartender. He felt even more inferior than he had when he had first met Mary Jane.
So when she got in and started the car he stood outside he still wasn't one hundred percent sure he should go with her. Did he really want to get into this mess again? Gabe had no idea, but when she threatened to serenade him in front of a curious mother and daughter a few parking spaces over he was quick to jump into the passenger seat, scowl still firmly in place, "Why do you listen to this shit? The shithead singing sounds like a pubescent girl.." He grumbled as he slouched in his seat, not bothering with the seat belt, and nodded for Mary Jane to get going, "Well, we going to leave the fucking parking lot anytime soon, darling? Or should I have called a taxi?"

Mary Jane heard what he yelled at her, although she knew it was to embarrass her, but she couldn’t stop the red blush that flared on her cheeks. The guy working at the checkout had started a conversation with her and, being friendly, she continued on the conversation until she saw her conversation partner pale considerably and his eyes shift to a point behind her before he stopped the playful banter they had had going. Turning her head slightly, she looked up to see Gabe staring daggers at the poor boy behind the counter, she whispered to get his attention, “Oi.” When he turned his head to face her, she reached up and placed her hand around his neck, and pulled him down to catch his lips with hers in a long lingering kiss. When she pulled back, she raised an eyebrow, “Happy?” she asked simply, a smile threatening to break out on her face, “I’d lay off the death stares before the boy needs a new pair of pants”. As she paid the cashier, she shot the boy a wink and gestured to Gabe who’s arm was still securely wrapped around her shoulders, “Aren’t they cute when they get jealous?” She said in a light tone before picking up her bags and making her way toward the exit and out to her car.
Once her groceries were in the car she turned to Gabe and raised an eyebrow, “It’s not like I haven’t seen you in your panties before Miss Mary Jane?” she asked before reprimanding him with a smack on his arm, ‘What makes you think that that is alright to say in a supermarket?!” she questioned, but she knew she wasn’t all that intimidating to him. “But that does remind me that I have a new battle scar from my escapades in New York,” she told him, wiggling her eyebrows, “It was a stupid fight but the scar isn’t going away anytime soon, I should get into arguments with designers more often.” elaborating, she gave a shrug of her shoulders. She closed the door behind her - leaning against it. Reaching out, she gently grabbed his shirt and pulled him closer to her so that he stood infront of her. “What are your plans for the rest of the day?” she asked innocently, “Because if it’s nothing important, I do have all this food and no one to help me eat it.” she pouted jokingly, noticing the guy who had been working at the checkout out of her peripherals leave and gave him a wave, laughing when he didnt return it and his eyes flickered to the boy standing by her, she turned her attention back to the red head in question and raised an eyebrow.
Gabe was absolutely shocked when he turned his glare away from the checkout boy to look at Mary Jane and was caught with a kiss. He was able to pull himself together though as he replied, "Never, Miss Mary Jane. You should know that by now... and judging by the way he's staring at you you needs a new pair of pants anyway." He said the last part just loud enough so the pimply boy could hear, knowing full well it would embarrass the twat even if there wasn't anything to be embarrassed about.
Sure enough a harsh blush covered his cheeks and a smirk fell across Gabe's face until Mary Jane spoke to the clerk again. His scowl returned, accompanied by, "I'm not jealous. I look at everyone that way." He took his arm off of Mary Jane's shoulders and crossed them over his chest, scowl still firmly in place.
A snicker fell from his lips moments later as Mary Jane reprimanded him for his comment about her panties, "Come now, dearest-- you're the one who kept taking them off. If you didn't want anyone to know you shouldn't have done it in the first place, hmm? And what are you doing getting into fights? I thought the fashion industry was full of pussies... you're not making up some story are you? Just to pass away a fucking need scrape or some shit?"
He was intrigued when she pulled him closer, wondering what it was she wanted. Then, when he got his answer, he couldn't help play with her a bit after the wave he saw sent to the checkout clerk, "I don't know, dearest. I had an evening planned that sounds much more fun-- I thought I'd clean out my ears, relieve my childhood, and then, to top it off, go jump off a cliff."
After a second of pretending to think it over he shrugged, "I guess that can wait until tomorrow. As long as you're not making lasagna... or anything with tomatoes. I will stab you with a blunt knife if you do that."

“Of course not, I highly doubt you’d even call any of the high school dropouts around here acquaintances, never mind trusting them in your house,” she told him with a roll of her eyes, though she knew he did care, she also knew that he clearly didn’t want to talk about it and respected that so she let it drop.
“Ouch,” she scowled at him lightly when he flicked her ear before laughing lightly. As she watched while he tossed the war heads into the basket, she scrunched up her nose, “Far too sour for my liking, but whatever floats your boat.” She amended with a shrug. “While I know you’re better looking than ‘that douche’,” she began, placing air quotes around the last part of her sentence, “You should know, that all you need to do is ask if you want a show,” she finished, her voice slightly lower so that no one else in the isle would hear her, a smirk to match his own graced her lips while the rational part of her brain was yelling at her for saying what she did. “And I think that’s everything so I should go and check out,” she told him, sliding out from under his arm and not giving him time to react to her previous comment, blowing him a kiss as she rounded the corner she came to a halt at the checkout and started to empty her basket onto the conveyor belt.
"You know me so well, dearest." Gabe replied but let it drop after that. He didn't want to talk about his dead grandmother when he could be thinking about his sort of girlfriend in lingere.
He rolled his eyes as she scowled at him, scowling right back, "It'll put hair on your chest, sweetheart. Though-- maybe it's a good thing you don't like them.... You better remember I'm better looking though... that twat doesn't have anything on me." He didn't have a chance to reply to her next sentence because she had ducked out from under his arm and took off towards the check out. His paused, stunned for a moment, and then shouted after her, "Well, it's not like I haven't seen you in your panties before, Miss Mary Jane!" Knowing it would embarrass her.
He followed right after, standing stoically behind her as she put her things up on the belt, glaring at the checkout worker with eyes that would make Hades himself burst into flames. He had taken an obvious interest in Mary Jane and Gabe wasn't too keen on that, making sure he was looking as he slung his arm back around Mary Jane as he rang up her items.

Mary Jane couldn’t help but laugh at his comment, “Yes, I’m clearly a monster. If I start chowing down on your arm you’ll know it’s time to run away,” she finished with a raise of her eyebrow, unable to repress the sarcastic undertone to her voice before she noticed his eyes land on her neck and she fell silent for a moment.
“Why not?” asked innocently, stretching up on her tip toes so that she was almost at the same eye level as him, “You look sexy with your hair pushed back,” a grin made its way onto her face as she shook her head at the fact she had quoted one of her favourite movies. To say she was surprised at his reaction to his grandmother would have been an understatement, she paused for a moment, her voice quieter as she asked, “Do you still look after the roses?” Knowing that the way he answered that particular question would probably tell her everything she needed to know.
However, the mood didn’t stay somber for too long as she let out a genuine laugh, “How is it unnecessary shopping if its going to wind up being food for you?” She questioned as she bumped his hip with her own. “It would be unnecessary if it was lingere shopping or something of the sort, but we both know that even if you didn’t accompany me you’d still end up eating half of this food anyway so thank you.” She finished, sticking her tongue out at him before switching her ice cream tub for a fresh one and picking up two pizzas as she made her way to the sweet isle with Gabe still beside her, his arm resting across her shoulders. Reaching the sweet isle, she picked up a bag of Skittles before telling him, “Take your pick, they’re on special,” as she gestured to the rack of sweets before them.
"Well if you did that we could just go home instead of wasting time in a place that smells like detergent and fucking spoiled milk." Gabe crinkled his nose in disgust.
Gabe rolled his eyes, knowing exactly what she was quoting, "I'm much better looking than that douche, dearest-- and you know it." His scowl deepened as he pushed his hair back down where it belonged, her next question tugging on his heartstrings a little. He would be lying if he said he wasn't still a wreck over the death of his grandmother. While he acted like she was a bother she was the first person who had ever given him any sort of love and guidance. It was just another reminder the things you care about never stay with you. "Why wouldn't I darling? Somebodies got to do it and you honestly don't expect me to let some high school drop out to do it, do you?" He raised his eyebrow, burying his leftover feelings from talking about his grandmother's passing.
He was glad the mood changed quickly, taking his mind off his grandmother, "Because I have to be here for it, doll. I just like eating the food, not shopping for it..." He chuckled lightly as she stuck out her tongue, using the hand wrapped around her shoulders to flick her in the ear, "I think accompanying you lingere shopping is completely necessary dearest and should happen as often and as soon as possible." He smirked at her, keeping his arm wrapped around her, "Ew, skittles really? Warheads are so much better, Miss Mary Jane."
He then grabbed a bag of warheads from the shelf, sticking them in her basket, "Now you've actually got some good shit."
