Just when I thought I can slack off this month... BAM! Social life punched me right in the gut, that I’m also unable to focus on my webcomic and a few commissions OTL

I apologize for leaving for a while. I am overwhelmed with too much workload and frickin social life jsfgadhjsf ..Well, yes it would be good if I had a social life, just not this -- feeling pressured OTL Then again, maybe it wouldn’t be so bad after all.......? Idk.

Anyhow! I already messaged the admin ;u; I’m taking a break for a while. And again, I’m sorry!

I’ll come back when things aren’t stressful ;u;

EDIT: ...I feel bad for doing this while an event is happening, so yeah, I’ll prolly make a few posts about the event before I go...? ;u;

Meme Monday Fanart Friday! :P

I actually wanted to do something related to this week’s chapter for fanart Friday, and save this for Monday (and continue working on my webcomic)… But I can’t help it! Contrary to other screenshot redraw memes that I did though, this batch is more simple… except the background (sorta)

Anywho~ This particular scene is what really got me started into watching SKET Dance (the Gintama-ish humor and Gackt weren’t enough, sadly). And in case you aren’t aware, that scene is a seiyuu joke (because both Switch and Kensei were voiced by the amazing Tomokazu Sugita… who also voiced Gintoki Sakata)…I won’t be surprised if Gin-chan’s favorite Visored is also Kensei, because Sugita-san~ XD

I spent until halfway this episode laughing at this reference. XD

“Thank you, thank you…” he said, a comforting sense of warmth giving birth in his chest. He grasped Shuuhei’s hand in a firm shake, thereby accepting the word of congratulations.

“No offense taken, really… I understand.” And remember. “Well, first of all we’d have to get you fitted for your tux. I’ll fill you in on the rest, but as for now, let’s worry about that, ah?

“Are you going to be free anytime soon?”

He knew Shuuhei had a bit of tendency to bury himself in work.

“Oh, sure!” The shinigami nodded. “I’m ready whenever you are!”

He can save whatever work he has been doing for later. A special day such as a wedding ceremony should not be delayed, and Hisagi doesn’t want to be the cause of that.

...Speaking of which, the spiky-haired male has yet to come up with a present for the couple.

Itachi had to pause at that- then laughed.

Ah yes. Now that he thought about it, he still remembered the incident when Shuuhei had thought Ino was with child. The poor Shinigami had even baked a congratulatory cake for the occasion.

“Oh no, no,” he reassured the other. “We’re getting married. We’ve been planning this for months now and the date is drawing closer.

“I’d like you to be one of my groomsmen.”

[shuuhei-sensei]

“R-Really!?” The lieutenant exclaimed, convinced that the wedding is in fact, legit this time. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to take it as a joke, or anything! You know how rumors are; they can be true or not true.” He said, with a curt nod.

“Anyway, congratulations, Itachi!” Hisagi flashed a toothy grin, and offered his hand for a handshake.

“I... that’s -- I-It’s an honor to be one of your groomsmen!” He cheerfully said, then paused. “...What should I do...?”

“Yes there is, as a matter of fact. You might have heard that Ino and I are getting married soon, and… There is a matter regarding that that I’d like to discuss with you.”

...Wait. What? Marriage...? He heard rumors about it several times, but they all turned out to be a bunch of jokes. Which lead to getting himself embarrassed in front of others.

The shinigami was unsure -- No. He’s not falling for that again! Shuuhei Hisagi is not THAT gullible, he thought.

“...You two are getting married...?”

“...This is a joke, right...?”

[shuuhei-sensei]

“First, Renji. And now, Itachi. ...Looks like my friends missed me so much that they want to see me...!”

“--Th...This makes me happy...!!”

[shuuhei-sensei]

"Shuuhei-san. May I have a word with you?"

“Yo, Itachi. It’s been a while.”

“What is it? Is there something I can help you with?”

[shuuhei-sensei]

"You, workaholic, drop whatever work you're doing and come with me."

“Osu. Almost done.” The raven-haired mumbled and stretched out his arms, after checking half of the reports his students submitted. After taking a quick breather, he fixed his eyes on the papers on his desk again, and continued with his work, until he was interrupted by a familiar voice.

“Renji?” Hisagi lifted his gaze and blinked, as he looked at the red-haired friend.

“What’s up?”

For a moment the petite had the hope she had to draw the whole explanation once again. That would’ve make it much easier and far more useful, if you ask her. This is what she gets for explaining before doing it.

Although, for what she could see, she trusted the fellow lieutenant understood very well the indications, and that was only confirmed the moment he repeated her words just to be clear.

"That’s correct." The petite smiled proud, mainly because despise the complications the basics were set already, and apparently successfully as well."It is indeed quite complicated, but I’m sure with more practice, you’ll be able to handle it well." she said in reassurance.

Rukia widened her eyes over his last question, ah that’s right! She forgot to mention that.

"Ah yes." she said while stepping closer and pointing on top of the juice box, "You see that circle there? And notice the end of the straw? With the right amount of strength you should be able to push it inside and it would be done…although not too fiercely or you can fold the straw" she added remembering the kind of strength shinigamis were used to. "A bit delicate but not too much, you must find a point in between"

"Need help?"

Hisagi listened at the female lieutenant’s explanation once more, and let his eyes follow the top part of the juice box which she pointed. Then, he shifted his gaze from the juice box, to the straw’s end, briefly glancing it before trailing his grey hues back at the box.

“Hm. I understand, now.” He muttered, as he gave a nod.

Hearing the female’s inquiry, Hisagi lifted his head. “Ah, thanks for the offer, Kuchiki, but I’d like to try this on my own. It’s easier to learn things this way.” A subtle smile crossed his features, upon thanking the noblewoman. “Thank you for sharing the information.”

The male shinigami now focused his attention on the box. Firmly, he held the plastic straw. It’s all because of his previous captain that Hisagi learned not to apply too much force when fighting. Though this scenario doesn’t involved fighting at all, his ex-captain’s teachings would still prove useful in this situation. The 9th Division lieutenant furrowed his brows, sternly gazing at the small circle on the box, making sure that he won’t miss his target, and that he won’t apply too much on opening it.

“Gently...”

Hisagi held his breath. This is it! The moment of truth! Once he saw the straw’s end facing the tiny circle, the raven-haired carefully pushed the straw downwards, applying only minimal force, and...

“I...” Hisagi’s eyes widened, and a grin slowly crept on his face. “I did it!” He exclaimed.

“Kuchiki, look!” He proudly showed her the box, looking as if he accomplished something great. Then, he paused, the look on his face gradually showing uncertainty.

“So... Since this thing is called a ‘drinking straw,’ “ He pointed at the straw. “...I assume this is used to drink the sweet beverage inside this box...?”

...I've been going on and off hiatus for quite some time now (either due to my health or being busy),and it really bugs me to the point where I thought of taking a break from RP-ing again, or at the very least, drop one of my characters. (I feel so embarrassed with my constant hiatus requests and very late replies.) Coming up with a final decision is tough for me because I also don't want to leave the group (again.) So, I thought of taking a hiatus for one more time to focus on my work (as a freelance artist and a non-professional comic artist), settle things, get laptop fixed, and think this through.

Again, I'm so so so sorry everyone!
