This wasn’t the typical Aoba. Sei was aware of the different Aobas— the two halves of his whole— however… this Aoba… simultaneously was and was not Aoba. Maybe his “desire” transformed into someone more specificially tuned, though… that sounded unlikely. Those thoughts were cast aside. Aoba is Aoba. Sei, regardless, is happy.
❝I’m sorry… But… I’m happy to see you again. Aoba.❞ His voice soft, shuddering with every tremor his body makes in a futile attempt at generating heat. If he freezes to death where he stands, then so be it— Fortunately, that wouldn’t be the case. A combination of fabric and Aoba’s own body heat was introduced to Sei, his smile faltering briefly in exchange for surprise.
❝Aoba…?❞
There was a sort of warmth that radiated from Sei. It could have just been body heat, but it made his stomach turn. It was as if his older brother was the sun, and he was the eclipse that tried to block it out. Their positive and negative outlooks clashed. They were so different. Was it appropriate to call them twins, the same product of the same experiment?
It did make sense, however. Sei was life, while he was death.
"Yeah, yeah." He muttered as he settled himself on the ground next to his sibling. He leaned against him, feeling the sickening warmth of his brother's body against his skin. He didn't want to do this, but his head ached; the voice pleaded for him to do so. It was annoying, but he would be lenient for now. Ugh.
"If you died, Toue would bite my head off."
