this year of summer games announcements were particularly comical because we got this effect of people lamenting certain absences like “ugh no persona announcement at state of play no news this year” nope xbox got it and they announced p4r and p6. i saw a lot of bitterness from kh fans that square announced ff7 revelations but have still been radio silent on kh4, which is totally understandable but uhhh spoke to soon NINTENDO of all companies got dibs to show a new kh4 trailer. just an endless domino effect of “no news for my favorite game… oh wait? what was that? xbox coming in with all my prayers answered? yippee!” and it’s been so fun to watch

i was so excited i pulled without checking the individual pieces and then i got piece 7/8 and was like wait… i don’t have the shirt or skirt yet and bam guess what happened next. i have an absurd amount of diamonds saved and like the other pieces in the set so not a huge loss for me but genuinely why not just make the outfit 9 pieces no one would be upset 4 stars have been 9 pieces before literally who decided this

the 1.8 story is hilarious to me bc nikki pulls up and everybody knows her and clocks that she’s acting different than before. everyone was so worried bc nikki got caught in the rain and people who get caught in the rain vanish from existence. so i’m over here like oh okay their nikki vanished and without her their world ends that checks out we’re taking her place. but also no because it turns out our nikki is actually a reincarnated cat deity that seemingly no one knew about but our mourning dragon girlfriend so now nikki just has to live with that now. and the og artist nikki is nowhere to be found so i’m left to assume we either took her place entirely or when we’re in danqing island we just posses her.

#every patch i would calculate how many pulls i would have #so i’d add the diamonds the devs told us we’d get with the total daily rewards from the patch (90*length of patch)#and then i'd add the monthly shops that reset so 5 pulls from the resonite shop and 3 from the mira crown shop #i'd also add 1200 diamonds from the miracrown since it ran twice and each time i'd get 600 diamonds at least #this consistently led to about 70 pulls per patch assuming i wasn't doing any chest grinding or normal quests #1.7 runs from july 7th to july 29th meaning the mira crown will only reset once #thus less diamonds #i was very confused when people were complaining about the old mira crown system because it made sense to me #it made sure you'd get a consistent influx of diamonds each patch and now it's not consistent #sometimes you get five extra pulls other times ten and maybe if an update falls mid month you'd get 15 #most of the time it's better than twice a month since only two patches have been longer than a month being 1.4 and 1.5 #for every other patch the old system would be more generous but no people didn't understand why it was the way that it was #and now i have to guesstimate when the four star banners come out too since i can't rely on the mira crown doing that countdown for me #in the grand scheme of things it's not a major loss i just like doing my calculations and i like when variables are a set number #infinity nikki #nikkiverse
