calling myself a brony and buying mlp merch from hot topic/spencers when i was a kid despite being the target audience + fitting just fine into the merchandise meant for my age range is incredibly funny in hindsight bc not only was i Sure i was "too old" for mlp i was also paying x2 more than what i should have been for clothing n shit purely bc i was positive that i fit in more with the adult fanbase
