"Echo!“ Ruby called out to her companion. When Echo did not return, she went after him. Echo sniffed the air following the scent, then he froze, seeing an Unidentified bot. He growled at the bot.

Rubysky rubbed the back of her helm, embarrassed, “Not really.” her wings still twitched out of anxiety. Echo nudged her servo, making Rubysky pet him to calm her down.

Optima smiles as she looks at the youngling. “That is alright little one. Do you know where we are?” She asked while getting up. Her joints squeak and groan as she gets up. The old femme’s body has seen better days, but she can’t remained seated for too long or her joints will get stuck and then its a pain to get them to start moving again.

“At the desert, as far as where exactly, I have no idea.” Rubysky said nervously. She kept petting Echo as it helped calm her down more.

“I am not coming any closer little one. I just have to get up. Sitting like that for too long and my old joints will get stuck like that and it will be hard to get them unstuck.” Optima informed while smiling at Rubysky. “Are we on Cybertron or are we on Earth?” She asked.

“Earth, although which part of Earth I’m not sure,” Rubysky told the older bot then continued, “There’s a shelter not too far from here.”

Rubysky looked at the optics of the bot. She saw kind and honest optics, not a bot who would do something to harm them. Rubysky whistled for her companion. Echo turned to Rubysky and stood by her side. “S—sorry, we thought you were one of those bots that are hunting anyone.” She told the bot.

Optima looks at her and shakes her helm. “No I am a protector of life in all its forms. I will not harm unless provoked. Meaning if I am to defend myself or others. Then I will attack.” She said while looking at the youngling. “May I ask your name little one?” She asked.

Optima shakes her head. She holds her helm as it is hurting. She groans a bit as walks around. Verse jumping is never a smooth thing. The old femme looks around as she hears barking and then growls. Optima approaches until she sees the dog. She then stops when she realizes that it is barking at her. She then sits on her knees and waits for the dog to come to her. She is trying to show she isn’t a threat.

Echo stood his ground for a bit, then cautiously walked forward. He sniffed the bot once again, unsure if this bot was a threat. Echo’s ears perk hearing his handler. “There you are!” Rubysky said, “Why did you—” She stopped seeing this new bot.

Optima stays where she is at. She looks at the youngling coming to claim her dog. “It’s alright little one. I am not going to hurt either of you. My name is Optima Prime.” She said softly.

'What's a prime doing here?' She thought to herself. Rubysky's wings twitched, signaling that she was uncomfortable. Echo tilted his head. He was a bit confused but kept his ground sensing that his handler was feeling nervous.
