Getting over it doesn’t mean forgetting it. It just means reducing the pain to a tolerable level, a level that doesn’t destroy you.

To make the right choices in life, you have to get in touch with your soul. To do this, you need to experience solitude, which most people are afraid of, because in the silence you hear the truth and know the solutions.

8 Ways to Build Self Confidence
1. Dress in a way that suits your style: Although there’s more to us than the way we look dress and look, it can greatly affect the way we feel. When we think we don’t look good we often feel less confident. That changes how we act and interact with other people.
2. Increase your pace of walking: People who walk quickly appear more confident. They have places to go; they have people to see; and their life is interesting and fast paced.
3. Good Posture: Slumped shoulders are a signal of lack of self confidence. But if you stand up straight, and you look straight ahead up, then you look more powerful and confident.
4. Develop an attitude of gratitude: Make a mental list of all you’re grateful for – relationships, successes, and things that bring you joy. You’ll be surprised at how many things are going well for you – and that will give a boost to your confidence as well.
5. Compliment others: When we get into the habit of complimenting others, we bring out the best both in ourselves and other people – and that leads to respect and increased confidence.
6. Speak up in group discussion: The more you speak up in a group, the less afraid you’ll feel in time – so taking that first step will have a knock on effect. It will lower your anxiety and increase confidence.
7. Make the effort to exercise: When we’re out of shape, we tend to feel less confident, less energetic, and proud of ourselves. But when we make the extra effort to invest in exercise we feel more in control of how we look and how we act – and that creates momentum which affects the rest of life.
8. Focus on others and the task you’re working on: Ironically, when we focus on ourselves and not the job or other people, we find we start to worry about our weaknesses. However, when we turn our focus outward, efficiency increase, and we feel less self- conscious and more confident.

Luke 4-6
I love the Gospels. There is so much love and wisdom in Jesus’s words. I couldn’t stop underlining and writing notes the whole time I read. #ciciottibiblestudy Day 2
Luke 4: The Temptation of Jesus
Jesus was tempted by the devil, but never overcome. We don’t have to give into temptation either.
Jesus fed spiritual hunger with prayer and God’s Word. We should do this, too.
The devil used the Word of God against Jesus, but out of context. Make sure you have an understanding of the Bible.
Jesus taught and educated. He didn’t condemn us for not understanding.
Verses 18 and 19 tell us Jesus’s purpose on Earth.
We should be listening intently to Jesus like the crowds, not picking apart His actions like the Pharisees.
We need to be moving forward, not looking back.
People cannot overpower God’s amazing plan for your life.
Jesus can remove any evil in you and make you new.
Serve others every chance you get.
The demons were trying to ruin God’s plan for Jesus by getting him killed, but they could not stand up against Jesus.
Luke 5: The First Disciples
Simon had great faith in Jesus.
God will give you much more than you need. Share it and enjoy it.
God can use you for amazing things.
Jesus took care of His spiritual health so that He could better help others.
The people who had faith in Jesus were the ones who were healed.
Pharisees: law over love mentality, prideful
Jesus: love over law mentality, humble servant
When God asks you to leave something, remember what you’re gaining.
Jesus came to heal us from sin through love and repentance, not to be a self-righteous know-it-all like the Pharisees.
Luke 6: Lord of the Sabbath
Stop looking to start arguments and fights.
Jesus didn’t care what the Pharisees thought because He had his eyes fixed on God and God’s Will for His life.
You have to expose your sickness to God to be healed. Stretch out your hand.
Jesus prayed in nature. Mountains, gardens, deserts: I’m starting to think praying in nature might be good for our prayer life. One of my favorite pastors, Ben Courson, goes on daily prayer walks in nature and just talks to Jesus.
The 12 Original Apostles: Peter, Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James, Simon, Judas, and Judas Iscariot (became a traitor)
The first part of the Beatitudes says that Jesus looked into the eyes of His disciples. Can you imagine something so intimate as staring into the loving eyes of Jesus, your Creator?
Keep serving others. Your reward in Heaven is great.
Jesus was merciful and loved everyone. Be like Jesus.
Address your own sin before you criticize others. “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.”
You are setting yourself up for failure if you hear Jesus’s commands and don’t follow them.
Your words and actions show what is in your heart.
I loved studying this passage, and I hope it helped you! Much love and God bless you all! ❤️
