FUCK, I though it was just another lucky meme but LISTEN. Since a week ago I was waiting a phone call to confirm me if I got a job or not in my university. I reblogged this yesterday’s night “just for fun and because I don’t want any bagel to be mad with me”, and today’s afternoon, while I was losing my time as always, the professor I was supposed to work with called me and asked me for my personal information to start working with her.

i love the headcanon that, while richie is extremely aware of his huge crush on eddie, eddie also very clearly has a crush on richie but is like... completely oblivious to it. like he climbs on top of richie in the hammock and eddie feels his entire face turn red, his heartbeat speeding up, and he can't stop smiling and he just thinks "why does it feel like this the happiest i've ever been??? i guess richie and I must just be really great pals"

listen... that last ask made a repressed gay memory of mine jump tf out. when i was 13 or 14, i had a huge crush on my best friend and she would always get my to dye and cut her hair for her and that shit was the most nerve wracking thing ever and now all my projecting self can think of is eddie being so fucking nervous every time he gets to do richie’s hair. he’s so nervous to mess up because... it’s richie and he doesn’t want him to be upset with him, even though he logically knows that (1)

richie would never get pissed at him for that, and getting to be that close to him and touch his hair is terrifying and makes him get all quiet and blushy because his fingers are in richie’s hair and it’s kinda oily but it’s richie so he doesn’t care THAT much and richie’s face is right there and he’s looking up at him like THAT. and poor bev is just trying to get hair experience… she is just trying to do her friends hair… she doesn’t have time for this gay shit (2/2)

Okay but what if Billy took Will to his first rock concert. Billy likes to go to shows and often times he’ll take Steve along with him because it’s a great way to get some time away from small town Hawkins and in the dark of a venue, it’s easy to skip his hand into Steve’s or in his pretty boy’s back pocket. Plus, he gets the opportunity to teach Steve about good music, not that crap they play on 97.3.

But tonight, Steve couldn’t go. He was sick or he just couldn’t get away from work for the evening but Steve still wants Billy to go to the Violent Femmes show that he got tickets for in Indianapolis. He’s got an extra ticket and there is no way he’s taking Max with him. He doesn’t need to worry about taking care of her and he doesn’t wanna listen to her bitch about the music all night. And it’s not like Billy has a lot of friends in Hawkins, let alone ones that like the Violent Femmes or anything similar. It’s then that he remembers a distant conversation with Baby Byers about how he thought Talking Heads was cool. It wasn’t a bad idea to take Will with him because Steve was trying to get him and his ragtag nerd herd to get along and Will was part of the brat pack but he was also one of the brats who had a good taste in music and was quiet.

It was a win-win situation.

That was how Billy Hargrove ended up on the Byers doorstep on Friday afternoon, asking Joyce if he could take Will to a show in the city. He never told her what show it was but the details didn’t matter as long as Will was safe with Billy in the city and he didn’t lose her baby in the city. Ever since he and Steve got together, Joyce has taken him under her wing and mothered him worse than Steve did. Somehow he had managed to get Joyce to let them go.

Billy picked Will up that night and almost sent him right back inside when he saw the khaki shorts and polo tee. He was worse than his boyfriend in someways. “Byers, do you got a pair of jeans?” Will blinked at him and ran back inside to change and thankfully came back out in a pair of worn jeans; even better. “What was wrong with my shorts?” “Kid, I promised Joyce I would keep you safe and you’ll stick out like a sore thumb in khaki anything at a Violent Femmes concert.”

In the car, they talked about music. Billy introduced Will to AC/DC and Def Leppard. Will have him tips on how to connect with other kids in the nerd herd. Billy could get used to this kid, could even get to like him. And by the time they got to the venue in Indianapolis, Billy didn’t mind tossing a shirt and flannel at Will. “Change into those and you’ll be set to go.”

The place was packed but Billy couldn’t help but grin when Will’s eyes lit up as they walked into the place. It was kinda gross but it wasn’t the lowest place Billy had been to a rock concert in and the people around them were right in his scene. It was already loud and the music hadn’t even started yet; it was gonna be a good night.

By the time the band started Billy found out it was Wills first concert and had even offered to by him a beer in celebration. They stayed towards the side for the first part of the show but after a couple beers, Billy offered to take Will into the mosh pit; which was fun for Will for about ten minutes before he was feeling nauseous and then led to Billy watching Will barf in the parking lot because Will can’t hold his liquor for shit even if it is shitty beer.

The night was still fun though and found himself liking Will even more and he didn’t have to explain himself all the time to Will and that was something Billy liked. Tipsy Will was a little more touchy than Billy would prefer but he was also a lot more open and talkative which Billy could also like when it came to Will.

And maybe Will told him about his crush on Mike when he’s a bit tipsy on beer and new music. And maybe Billy gives him advice on how to talk to boys and win over Mike even though Billy thinks Mike isn’t good enough for Will by a long shot because it’s Will.

And maybe he helps Will sneak in to the house without his mom knowing, because he didn’t want the kid to get in trouble with Joyce. And maybe when he got home that night he told Steve about how he liked Will the best out of his children and wouldn’t mind taking him under his wing.

And maybe the next time Billy finds a show he wants to go to, he gets three tickets instead of two.

it's been brought to my attention that everytime hader kisses his costars, he always pulls them closer by their neck. so let's go back to that scene in ch2 where eddie is on top of richie after saving richie from the deadlights and you can see richie's hand slowly reaching up to eddie's neck (and richie licked his lips while looking up at eddie)..... makes you Think..........
