He definitely regresses more to a kiddo age (anywhere between 4-10) and is fairly quiet compared to more rambunctious tiny ones buut the moment he warms up to you and one of his interests are mentioned that kiddo is telling you every detail of a very specific era model of a carriage car
Kim doesn't mind toys, not really a huge thing for plush toys, but he LOVES toy carriages and plane (he's one to take the utmost care of his toys, no scratches to the paint and hardly any balding on the toys tires) and carries them everywhere with him (definitely a kiddo who has a weekly favourite that goes with him for that week then switches the next week)
Carer Harry is the ultimate fun(tm) carer! He was a gym teacher and has known there are only two types; the grouchy one and the fun one, and Harry was the fun one! So Harry likes to bring tiny Kim out on explorations of the village/town, pointing out certain things he thinks might peak Kim's interest- of course Harry sometimes ouver estimates how much energy a kiddo has and has had to carry the sleepy Kim back on a couple occasions (but, worth it to Harry because they got to see some very nice seagulls and Kim always looks so cute when sleepy)
Harry also tries very hard to learn about Kim's interest! Sometimes, this results in Kim giggling as he has to correct Harry's silllllly questions (it's a sweet bonding time♡)💖💖💖💖💖
Also, tiny Kim in Harry's jacket because they thought it'd be warmer out and now Kim is drowning in the large jacket that he's got sleeve hands(Harry's fine, that man has the wildest body heat control xD) ;u;

Is very much one who wants to keep his regression tucked away neatly and safely, something he is reluctant in sharing with others, a bit out of fear but also just bc/ being that vulnerable with someone is something he only wants to share with someone he truly trust
Omg though when he's tiny, he is an adorable lil guy ;w;
He is pretty shy at first, hiding behind his hands or his carer but, once he warms up to someone, Kim is sweet and likes to play!
Def has lots of hot-wheels (or motor-carriages?) and lil plane toys! Loves to just drive them around the tables, pretending that two of the motor-carriages are racing (aka, sliding them down a piece of wood incline)
Also, a tiny one who takes very good care of his toys, always making sure he isn't too rough with them, sometimes you'll find bandaids missing from the cabinet and find them plastered on one of his toys that had fallen (not even really breaking it but, Kim knows that bandaids make him feel better so, it must make his toys feel better too!)
Very much a tiny one who is most a peace when in the car, so def take him for an aimless drive, you'll see that glean in his eyes as you're both driving past other carriages (and eventually the rhythmic rolling on the pavement has Kim falling alseep ;w; )
Isn't one for loud/overly exciting play, he prefers a more quiet and soft playtime, others might think it's boring but to him, it's the best thing, just being able to sit down, roll his toy cars around and rest
His age is around 3-6, all depends on the day and how he's feeling at that time
Still wears his pilot jacket, you cannot get that off of him, it's comforting and cozy to him (and yes, he will wear it while sleeping, and no, dont even think of suggesting elsewise xD)
Big Kim says he writes down his thoughts and such but, tiny Kim does tend to just talk out what he's thinking, it, of course is sometimes just mumbled words as he's building something
He gets one of those 'candy cigarettes', just like his real evening cigarette xD

First I want to address what I consider an elephant in the room: would Kim even accept his own regression? Part of me doubts it. That man is so deeply repressed that he seems like he'd scarcely be interested in exploring this. However, BIG However, he's clearly willing to explore some things more privately. I mean, think about it. He likes Speedfreaks FM. He knows himself well enough to know he's gay, without having absolutely pulverized that thought into oblivion. He has played god dang Wirrâl, which, that's gotta be a nerd game. So, we'll play with the lens that he's been willing to explore it, and perhaps has explored it.
He does not want this getting out. Reputation and outward appearances mean a lot to him, considering he doesn't want to be made a target, he plays up this Normal and Competent Guy-ness, even though he is literally not The Most Normal Guy To Ever Walk On Land. Therefore, his regression is an extremely private activity. To even know about it, it's an act of extreme trust on his end.
It's also him not wanting to be infantilized despite his regression, I think. I had a post in the works about the agere community's relationship to society infantilizing Asian men (see: K-pop RPF...), and it's definitely some shit Kim has dealt with, and I don't think he wants to grapple with it when he's supposed to feel comfortable. Thus, nobody can infantilize him without his wanting if he's alone. I imagine it's hard to be confident in what you want when you're regressed if you're stuck in a control battle with yourself.
Because of this, and perhaps due to being an orphan, he would be an extremely independent regressor in terms of execution, but it's possible and dare I say it, likely when he's further regressed/less in control, he has a want for care. But that seems like something he'd bottle up.
If he somehow slips in public, something has gome so deeply and horribly wrong. He values his own self-control a lot, so not being able to control it would STRESS HIM OUT. BAD. He'd repress any involuntary regression to the ends of the goddamn isola if he could, and he probably would.
I think he struggles to fully regress, even alone. He knows how to let loose, he can do "age-inappropriate," but this is such a deep vulnerability that it's just plain difficult. I imagine he semi-regresses more often than not, easily able to snap himself right back to normal on command, even if he started to regress involuntarily somehow.
He would have a notebook dedicated toward regression, preferring to keep it entirely seperate from even mundane home life thoughts, if he continues to process things via writing them down even at home... Not sure on this one as I know DE implies his method of thinking is via writing things down, but I wonder what he does at home, or when he can't write anything down...
Similarly, I think any regression-associated items he might own are tucked away in their own discrete little box, unlabeled.
My kneejerk thought on what I think a regressed Kim might gravitate toward in terms of items are model aerostatics and motorcarriages, but also Franconigerian knight figurines. He used to be very into those.
Lemme stir the pot on getting agere Kim out into the eyes of other characters... I cast agere Harry beam. But to do that, a quick Harry overview, I think he'd be, like, comically open, not fully realize his own regression, so on so forth. He somehow Jamrock Shuffles his way into Finding Kim's Toys and instead of asking any questions he immediately just wants to2 play. And even if Kim says he does not want to play, he starts playing. And I think Kim realizes oh shit he also does this. It would take time but I think I would like to let them play toys together. And then they say nothing about this to anyone afterward. EXTREMELY hush hush super secret playdates.
Still, even regressing around Harry... I have my doubts he'd fully let his guard down.
This guy is so repressed we need to give him a million billion years to work this out, or a good plotline.
I haven't even touched on his Trauma and Stressor Disorder from his time as a juvie cop holy crap. That's gotta play in there somewhere but really I think that more directly influences a theoretical CG Kim.
Anyways there's something beautiful about the thought of having a deep enough trust to be willing to be DEEPLY vulnerable around them. That is all.
