yea so Darren Criss called tonight. here’s the call.

When Darren Criss was on set filming his first episode of Glee, he called in to Side B Radio and we had a quick little chat.

This was his first time speaking to media about being on Glee. MTV claims it was them, but they spoke to him 9 days after I did. He mentions the show he’s playing (10/17/10) where MTV would interview him. 

I’ve been going through the archives looking for some audio to build an air check. 

Thought people might enjoy this.

So I (Stephanie) pledged enough $ to be rewarded a personal skype call with the Tin Can Brothers on their spies are forever Kickstarter. I explained that as much as I love them, I don’t need that reward, but instead, would love to give it away to a wonderful listener! @coreylubo gave me permission to do that.

Anna and I decided last night that for the next 4 weeks, we will ask a question pertaining to a random video on the @tincanbros YouTube channel during each episode of Side B Radio. You must answer correctly, as well as have donated SOMETHING to spiesareforever.diamonds to qualify for this prize.

I know 4 weeks seems like a lot, but the reward won’t be given til prob around Feb anyway, and it’s a big prize! Joey said on their last livestream that it’s a private convo between 20-40 minutes long! I’m almost sad to be giving that up, but hey technically I did that last week when I did my interview with them, so I figure let me spread the wealth.

TL;DR, listen to side b radio (on renegaderadio.net, Wednesdays 8-11pm eastern) for the next 4 weeks and correctly answer our questions re: TCB, and have proof that you have donated to the Spies are Forever Kickstarter. (At least $1.).

You should prob also be following @sidebradio and TCB on our/their social media platforms.

In the event that we have several correct entries, we will do a random number generator.

I’m super happy with how each piece turned out and that each character has managed to stay themselves despite being thrown into new surroundings and costumes. (My inner feminist wouldn’t allow Merida or Mulan to have their weapons taken away lol) Pocahontas still loves animals, Cinderella is still dressing tiny creatures, Tiana is cooking, and Belle fell asleep reading! I hope you enjoy the princesses you know and love, with a twist!

Spies are forever

I’m sure you’ve seen posts about this, but we are 8 days away from the campaign ending and only 630 people have backed this project. We have almost $10k to go. I can’t even explain how much I want to see this project happen.

Team Starkid’s Joey Richter, Lauren Lopez, Joseph Walker, Brian Rosenthal, and Corey Lubowich are signed on. The music is being written by TalkFine (Clark Baxtresser and Pierce Siebers) who wrote the music for Ani: A Parody and A Very Potter Senior Year.

In addition to all of those people, it’s also got Curt Mega (Glee), Tessa Netting, and Mary Kate Wiles (LBD) and Al Fallick (who you’ve prob seen in TCB videos).

I know those of you who follow me know my affinity for these people. My life changed drastically because I met Team Starkid.

I don’t like singling anyone out but a few people involved in this show mean a lot to me and I really want to see it succeed.
