Okay so Rag/atha didn’t grow up with the most…affectionate mother. So she doesn’t have a great in person framework for being taken care of when she’s sick.

She had no idea what vapor rub was until Zoo/ble mentioned it once when P/omni got sick for the first time in the circus, and the gang started reminiscing about what their parents used to do for them when they were kids and got sick. She was so lost: “so it’s Like lip balm?” “Yeah but it goes on your chest.” “….what?”

She carries this mental attitude that no one would wanna be around her when she’s sick, that everyone would just think she’s gross. So, she usually hides her symptoms when she’s sick, or at least tries her best to.

Her circus form makes that kinda hard.

SHE HAS A NOSE ! Guys this means so much to me as a ragatha stan. When she gets sick, it goes from orange to red :)

Ragatha has the CUTEST congested voice ever like it’s just so Raggedy Ann in the 70s movie. She doesn’t talk nearly as much when she’s sick, especially since colds tend to go straight to her throat.

She has a fun little scarf she wears around when she’s sick

When she’s sick with a fever her movements become even more rag dollish, floppy flippity. Like how she moves when high on stupid sauce.

Her sneezes emphasize the “chiew!” in the “hiihCHIEW!” And she always sniffles twice after she sneezes. P/omni brings that up once and she doesn’t stop blushing for ten minutes.

Rag/atha defff has the kink in my eyes idk, so when people point out anything about her sneezes she gets a lil…warm in the face. To say the least.

Poor doll... Basically she was given the cough as an obstacle for an adventure where they're supposed to be quiet, but afterwards, Caine basically admits that he can't just snap her chest cold away, she has to cough up all of the gunk in her chest herself. Which takes at least 2 weeks of feeling sheepish and self-conscious hacking in the background of every conversation and getting god awful sleep.

its so squeaky that she hardly speaks, even when she wants to. J/ax makes some snide remark about how he could get used to not hearing her voice, or how rough it sounds, but Pomni shuts him down.

Ragatha keeps insisting that she's just fine, but all she wants is someone to bring her a cup of tea. Or some cough syrup

I sleep on "developing a fever DURING something important" too much. It's not a groundbreaking concept or anything I just tend to focus on The Character developing a fever before something, I think. The drama of pushing through, and all.

But y'know. Character feeling completely fine and normal all day, just nothing off whatsoever, and then they deteriorate so quickly in like an hour flat that people notice. Just being absolutely hit like a truck in the middle of the day when they are already in the process of doing something very important. Feeling compelled to just see that task through because they're already in it. They felt completely fine this morning. What gives?

I’m personally always going to prefer snz content made by people with the kink.
