OK, but…

Derek is actually Will and Stiles is Jack.

Noble, grounded, and some self-esteem issues because of trauma related to his family? Sounds like Derek to me.

A little crazy, extremely clever, with mommy and daddy issues? Now that’s Stiles.

Although, we could also swap it again here because some of those traits carry over into Elizabeth. If we had Stiles as Elizabeth that would make Noah the governor and that kind of works perfectly. And then have Lydia as Jack, which doesn’t fit as nicely, but it still kind of works.

I fully agree that Kate Argent cannot work as David Jones because Davy Jones does get a minor redemption arc and Kate not only never even attempts it, she doesn’t see her behaviors as wrong, and she doesn’t do anything to earn it ever. However, that makes her perfect for Beckett because he doesn’t see owning and selling human beings is wrong and in fact, shames Jack because he released the slaves that Beckett had been transporting as cargo arms Beckett had him branded as a pirate for it. Although, where does that leave Gerard? The king of England?

I totally see where you’re going with Scott as Davy Jones but the only downside is that it would make Allison Calypso and that I just don’t see. I mean, the way she interacts with the story does work a little bit, but the intentions are not the same at any point. Because Calypso has all of the information from the start and Allison does not.

The more I start to think about this, I kind of like the idea of Lydia as Calypso and Jackson as Davy Jones, but that throws everything off and I’d have to start from scratch. Grrr! I did not plan on thinking about this this much! (but I’m enjoying the picture it’s creating and I will continue to do so outside of this post. bye bye)

I was perusing @christinesficrecs rec list and I saw there were The Witcher crossover fics and I told my husband I should watch that show finally* just so I can understand the Sterek fics set in that universe.

So guess who’s husband put that show on “just in the background if you wanted to maybe watch it - I’m gonna rewatch it randomly now” 😂😂😂

*I wanted to watch it when it came out but someone (my husband) started it WITHOUT ME so out of spite I haven’t given it a chance.

But I’m definitely understanding all the memes now! 😂😂😂

Oh my god this is the first time I’ve watched a show in a long time where I can see the ships and know what the fanfics are written about. I see the eye fucking between characters and how certain characters would be friends with TW characters.

Foreboding big strong silent type man with a mage friend or lover (or both). What show am I talking about?

Big fan of the found family vibes in Witcher. Love the found family vibes in Teen Wolf.

(A lot of Teen Wolf I’m referring to is fanfiction related, even when it’s canon/compliant because Jeff Davis needed to listen to ff writers and the show would have been better I never finished it whatever ok)

Is Jaskier bisexual? I don’t care if that’s not blatant canon, you should see how the blond prince eye fucks him and he does not seem weird about it.
