What is media literate person?

Being a media literate person is having a ability to enhance the 21st century skills to observe, report, evaluate, and create media. Being media literate person is important but being media literate person means having a responsibility. For example being a media literate person you must think of people that can be affected unless your highlight on them is good. And then you must foresee the aftermath of your post. Can it help others to learn? Will it catch their attention? Make sure your posts are fact, and don’t hate just educate the society.

Is media boon or bane.

Is really media boon or is it bane? For me, its how you use media. Some people uses media as a boon it helps them to gather some information just like advertising their product, media helps them to communicate with other people so that the people could know what may the benefits with their products. For me, media helps me to communicate with my relatives. And helps me to entertain myself way back before i was junior highschool, i used facebook as an entertainment or  playing farmville(gameapp). But, sometimes media can be a bane or less helpful. because children can make accounts like facecbook accounts in such a young age, Facebook can be helpful but it has too much information for young age such as 14 years old below. It can influence them to do things that adults do.

however media can be both boon or bane, use it as needed and responsibly.

Footnote to Youth  -Jose Garcia

           The story was title Footnote to Youth, by Jose Garcia, The main point of the story is to aware the youth how hard to be a parent for a early stage. And what is “Puppy love”. And what is the feeling of a parent with a son who married early.

           As I read the story, the real message of the Footnote to Youth is everyone will do for love they can`t control their feelings. Like Dodong he is aggressive to marry Teang. That makes us to good example for us teenagers. As the story goes on i realized that the life of Dodong is suddenly changes as his married life days are counting. It makes us teenagers realize that if we hurry to marriage life or hurry to open the “Gate of heaven”. We must decide first what is right and wrong. We must follow our parents advice because they always want us to be good and prepared in our future lives.

           The story of Footnote to Youth strikes us, especially us teenagers. because nowadays, its easily to get a communication to our love ones. I am not saying that the story is bad. love is good but, we must always remember our limitations and prevent all bad influences. Teenage marriage is common to us now. Because we don`t follow our parents advice, in our stage we always want our wants but not our needs. Even it leads to bad decisions and ways. The parents advice is the excellent advice of all because they experience it. If you disobey it you must face your consequences. Our parents working so hard to make our lives easier to sustain our daily needs. so that we don`t experience their hard lives.

           In my life I encountered being inlove. And i realized that this story if I acted like Dodong i couldn`t handle my student life and family life. we must make our decisions wise. Love will come soon don`t be so hurry, don`t make foolish things. You must enjoy the life of being a teenager. because we can`t blame others if our life is hard because this is your life. The story of Footnote is very excellent I cannot express how good it is but if you read this story you can feel the way I am feeling right now. To the story there is no need to change everything. because it is exactly what the story want us to get. now that I learned and I been influence this story i must now rush everything in love and learn my studies more for my better future.

FOOTNOTE TO YOUTH  BY:JOSE GARCIA VILLA

The story of Footnote to youth is all about the teenagers who married early age. Some reason girls getting pregnant, and boys are aggressive to marry a girl. Because of real desire of getting a girl because of love. Marriage is not a easy thing you must enjoy while still young, and if we are married we cannot go back to being youth.

Dodong who was living in a small farm, wanted to marry a girl named Teang. So he ask his father`s permission. And his father didn`t refuse, but Teang is already pregnant that time, and they were married and give birth to a child named Blas. After 6 years a new child was born again. and Teang didn`t complain. And sometimes Teang wondered that if she was married to lucio who was his other suitor who didn`t have a child since she married Teang and Dodong were twenty but they wonder that why they are look so old. when Blas was getting older, he was like his father that he want to marry in a early age. He was fallen in love to Tona, and Blas asked permission to his father which is Dodong. And Dodong didn`t refuse but he don`t want Blas to be like him that he married and have a child at a early age so Dodong argue with Blas.

Footnote to youth focuses on teenagers who married early. which is a problem of a teenagers nowadays. But we as a teenagers must not follow, we all know that marriage is good because you know that you meant for each other, but who is gonna pay for your marriage? your parents, marriage is a thing that you are being blessed by the lord and you must love your partner till death. You must be a good example to your child, that your child will grow well. He will not go to the bad ways, he will not marry early. As a teenager we must enjoy our life to the fullest don`t hurry love will come to you, marriage isn`t a race marriage will come to you at a right time. You must not argue with your parents because parents will not give you a bad way, they will always love you and put you in a right way. even if they are falling apart they will put you to piece and put you together. Like Dodong that he is hard headed, who want always to be his way he thought that he knows everything. because regrets are always last. happiness is early but sorrow will be the last to welcome you. be a good son and a father don`t marry early. Live your life to the fullest.

The Footnote to youth by Jose Garcia Villa  is a good story to all fathers and a good example to all teenager even in positive and negative example it could be a good reminder to all families to all teenager families and to their sons/daughters that the biggest decision that will change our life is at teenager stage. where we will choice either we will enjoy our teenage years or we will direct to the married stage. sometimes we argued to our parents because we though we know everything, we though we are wiser to them. I`m not saying that love is bad. love is good but we serve it as a inspiration, or if we are in a relationship we must just make it slow or enjoy your teenage years with your partner. If you make your bad decisions, Live with it face the consequences and don`t put in your mind that you`re alone God is always be there. Just making a test. Sometimes life is hard but deal with it, it is your decision.
