That or keeping jobs for the people involved, but I like your idea better.
Jobs are very important, though. [Or at least she thought so. She saw something about them on a midgardian newspaper.]

That or keeping jobs for the people involved, but I like your idea better.
Jobs are very important, though. [Or at least she thought so. She saw something about them on a midgardian newspaper.]
thorrofasgard:
“That’s true, some parties get a little out of hand around here.” He agreed, watching her as she plopped down on his table. “Probably because I mostly hung around here.” He shrugged, he didn’t ever give it much thought on whether or not it was easy for Sif or Loki to find him, they could both come upon him if they really needed him. “Restless? Are you already bored of the Midgardians, Sif?”
We used to get that out of hand. Or at least you did, if I remember correctly. Such a homebody you’ve become.
They’re boring, Thor. Their concerns trivial at best.
thorrofasgard:
Thor turned his head at the sound of Sif’s loud entrance into his apartment, he would have been surprised, had he not known Sif. “Do we really need to draw that kind of attention to ourselves?” He raised an amused eyebrow at her. “You act like I’m a hard man to find. I tower over everyone, and I’m like twice the width, I stick out.”
[She rolls her eyes at him.] I’ve seen girls do worse than break down doors on these streets. [She sits heavily onto the nearest flat surface, which just so happens to be a table.] And yet I still didn’t see you today. Which would not be a problem if I wasn’t growing restless in this realm.
[Sif practically bursts through Thor’s dorm room door.] You are very lucky that was open. I was not above destroying school property to come in here today.
janejugglingfoster:
[Jane shrugs] I use mine to stop my kitchen table from wobbling. They have multiple uses, even if it’s not it’s the original intended function.
That must be why they’re still produced.
yourfavegammagirl:
Jen smiled coyly. “Maybe I did, maybe I didn’t.”
“I dunno. It just seems kind of…superfluous in this day and age.”
[Sif smirks.] Very funny.
It’s an art. No different than that of writing or painting. Why should it not continue to be appreciated?
janejugglingfoster:
Ah, that must have been Ms. Jacobs. She’s a bit… Well— old fashioned. If you go online you can probably find a place as well as reviews from other customers and stuff. The most common use for the yellow pages thees days is a, uh, door stop.
[Sif nods, looking back down at the phone book.] I suppose I’ll do that, then. This thing is a bit hefty. [It’s not, not to her, but it might be to a midgardian.] Perhaps I’ll get one of my own for myself. Those dorm room doors require more than my satchel to keep open.
yourfavegammagirl:
“I’m gonna take a stab and say no.” Jen bent over the book herself and grazed a finger across the page. “Damn, I didn’t even know they made these things anymore.”
[Sif eyes Jen suspiciously and suppresses a smile.] You said that on purpose, didn’t you? ‘Stab.’ Why wouldn’t they?
yourfavegammagirl
“A Renaissance festival. You know, like, jousting and mutton and…stuff. I’ve never actually been myself, but apparently they’re pretty cool.”
I see. That sounds rather enjoyable. Perhaps I should attend one.
I don’t think I could find one in this, could I? [She gestures to the yellow pages open in her lap.]
janejugglingfoster:
All I really know about swords is the pointy end goes into the other person but I think a search on Google would give you better and faster results than… is that a phone book?
There’s much more to it than that. [Sif looked down at the book in her hands.] It is. The librarian recommended I use it. Was she wrong?
yourfavegammagirl:
“A sword?” Jen couldn’t help but echo as she overheard the girl. “Is there a Ren fest coming to town or something?”
You heard correctly. A sword. [Sif’s eyebrows furrowed.] Uh... ‘Ren fest’? I’m not sure what that is...
[Talking to herself as she flips through the yellow pages.] Where’s the best place to buy a sword around here...
