i am an insomniac and on top of that I've had shit to do during the only hours i get consistent sleep so i get it

my friends and i have started communicating by meowing when we're really tired or socially exhausted. it works surprisingly well to combat the "my friends all secretly hate me" anxiety because often even when we're really struggling we can handle a quick meow and we know that means the person is alright just exhausted. o dont think it even necessarily needs to be a meow, just a signal

time to start the winter semester! good luck to all the students gearing up for a lot of studying. fingers crossed for an enjoyable semester and no panic attacks!

I recently read a collection of short stories by Norma Dunning called Tainna:The Unseen Ones. I think it changed my perspective on short stories because damn it had me hooked. High quality writing and fucking hilarious. Especially if you like a well placed swear word and characters that live to fuck with other characters.
