Ngl the reason I finally watched Project Hail Mary was because I could not figure out who was the alien in all these equally chaotic "Rocky", "Grace", and "Stratt" meme posts tumblr keeps bombarding me with.

Who knows, that would be really nice. I’d also like to consider weekend fosters or something, I really did love working with dogs. Being a taxi driver I’m beyond positive you have more crazy client stories than me, but the weird client stories were also a plus. Like one lady had elephants everywhere, elephant table, figurines, paintings, bedsheets, umbrella stand- everything was elephants. Another had a dog that wailed at the top of its lungs whenever it pooped and she wanted me to walk it to a park every time. Got a lot of stares.

Have you finished Silk Song? I’m trash at Hollow Knight lol, I’ve only finished it as many times as I have because my brother basically held me at gun point so it’s sloooow going with Hornet. The game is gorgeous though.

Yeah I love dogs too! Spent a really long time as a dog walker/dog sitter combo before the pandemic kinda crashed my momentum. It was stressful sometimes but I could’ve done it forever tbh. Worked on a ranch for a couple years after than before going back to finish my degree, much less fun, wouldn’t recommend.

Woof, you don’t take the slow boring jobs huh. You have my sympathies, no matter what job you’re at, lunch rush is the enemy…. I was a dog walker for a while, wasn’t bad! But people usually sent me out to walk their dogs at lunch and I’d always end up stuck somewhere lol.

Anyway the me from seven years ago agreed with you lol, Ratchet is way too much of a helicopter parent and Harry is very susceptible to being clingy and babied and they end up making each other infinitely worse. Think an anxious person and an anxious puppy they REFUSE to properly socialize and they both end up with intense separation anxiety lol. The ones who take their dogs into restaurants because if they don’t, the dog throws up out of stress. And the owner won’t fix it because the second the puppy whimpers in its crate they scoop it up and comfort it.

And there in the corner is Optimus Prime drumming up the courage to host an intervention in which both parties will think he’s the devil.

Ooooh man it’s been like a decade since I’ve watched Animated. Sorry if I’m forgetting important things.

From what I recall….that was our iciest Megatron. A real quiet plotter. He’s probably one of the most competent incarnations and ended up being enormously popular with the megop writers, but not really to my Megatron tastes. I like him to be more pathetic lol

Tbhhhh I don’t think he’d care much about Harry past maybe being used as a bargaining chip, but even then not a super interesting one. I don’t think there’s a major kid shortage in that universe, and he doesn’t have a lot of fun dynamics I can build off of. He’d probably sell him back to the lab for some intel and consider it a steal ngl.

Who’s on the decepticons here…. I could see Starscream hatching some harebrained scheme stealing him away just on the principle that Megatron had him first. Black Arachnia might actually take a liking to him if I were to give him to another decepticon- she’d probably be my first choice.

Animated Ratchet would love a cute little kid.

He’d probably be all jaded and avoidant at first, but a cute little kid is a cute little kid and he seems like the type to bitch and moan but also never let anyone else take babysitting duty from him. He’d probably chase Bumblebee away for fear of turning Harry into another Sari (which is unfair, she showed up like that).

Was wondering if i could rec a longtime fic thats still ongoing, I think ive rec-ed it before? A Melody Of Second Chances by the wonderful @secret-engima

The half a mill word count is kind of intimidating lol

I’m so impressed secret-enigma can write that much and at a high enough quality for it to be a rec from you, but it’s been sitting in my tbr pile for when I’m in a super big transformers mood. When I peeked on their works page- one of my fave Horizon Zero Dawn fics belongs to them which is really cool!

The vaaaaast majority of HZD fics are one of three flavors:

1. Aloy meets Elizabet

2. Aloy has a romance with Erend

3. Aloy has a romance with Kotallo and also meets Elizabet

I celebrate any author who is brave enough to have a different idea, and secret-enigma has a super endearing one with Observations of an Outsider!

So they’re high on the tbr list, I’m sure Melody of Second Chances has a lot of cool ideas too.
