She found herself pacing a bit back and forth, not very far around the chair positioned in front of his desk. “Could be worse, could be a meeting that was three hours long.” Or hell, even longer than that. Now those were the worst. But… to be stuck in a room with João? Certainly no complaints there as she would catch herself glancing over at him in his chair. “But nonetheless I do agree, I actually was looking forward to this trip.” She hums, “With the snow coming in heavy it’ll be nothing but staying inside, and while I’ve been out during the cold plenty of times it’s not the same as when the sun shines brightly.”
“Well...” The Portuguese man began slowly, standing up from his spot and easing the file folder of notes out from under Sig’s hands. “No one is telling us that we cannot take this out on the water.” A bright, cheery smile replaces his slightly grouchy expression at the notion of winter wrapping it’s icy clutches around his home, being confined to the indoors for months on end. “I think as long as we get everything done, no one has a right to complain about how it gets done.”
