ANYWAYS this is a new blog for amaterasu-omikami, the goddess of the sun in japanese shinto lore. she’s mysterious, but gentle, unless ur a liar in which case ur fucked and she wants nothing to do with you. she’s had enough of her brothers susanoo and tsukuyomi betraying her trust and she doesn’t want anything to do with people like that.

at first the young jötun smiled, easily amused by the stranger’s suprised leap. he even tried holding back a small giggle, but failed miserably. he gave agrippa a curious and attentive look, one that focused on the man’s face. why the mask? “ sure, i’m loke! well, er… what did you do before you got here? i heard only gods can travel outside of the realms, are you a god? you don’t look it, really. ” he paused, considering the other’s origin. the man felt off, sickening in a way. it only sparked the to be diety’s interest. “ are you a sort-of-draugr? is that why you wear a mask? rotting underneath it? ”
despite the rather invasive nature of them, the boy’s questions made agrippa chuckle slightly. childish curiosity was such a strange thing, one he wasn’t familiar with but knew of the concept ( considering he was never really a ‘ child ‘ per say ). “ nice to meet you, loke. and, well.. i was chasing my horse, as she was trying to play tag with me again. and i was chasing her through a forest. and then suddenly a bright light blinded me, and then i ended up here.. “ at least, that’s what he remembered. though the other’s question confused him, and he tilted his head. “ what exactly is a draugr? some type of undead creature? though, i assure you, i am not rotting underneath the mask. in fact, i look perfectly human. “ as if he was human.

“ ah, well, i suppose that could be a word to describe it. i mostly picked it out because it’s... nostalgic, to say the least. “ he chuckled at the woman’s little movements with her hands, and the way she described birds. “ birds are very beautiful. i like ravens the best. what about you? “

the scene happening before her was quite dramatic through her eyes. here this guy was panicking over what seemed to be a fashion choice, though she really had no right to judge. perhaps it was very important to him. she crouched down, eyeing the mask he was desperately trying to fix. the more meliora looked, the clearer it became that this mask had some sort of significance to him. “h-hey… do you n-need help?”
“ hh... “ eyes widen as he hears a voice- a voice he doesn’t recognize of course- and he makes sure to smack a hand over his mouth in order to keep the dreadful smoke from escaping his lungs. he turns towards the other and shakes his head, though now with one hand it seems impossible to be able to fix the broken mask, which upon realizing this fact only seemed to make him panic even more as he fumbled with the mask with one hand.
