It is foolish of me to be surprised at yet another war. Though it is not me who has said the word either— people have been coming to me with words of war, and I simply hear them out.

I will not apologize for my people avoiding tragedy, Raven. His voice was firm and loud, but not filled with the same venom with which he was just received. Perhaps you should evaluate whether it is us who are lucky, or if it simply that the mutants are always ready to pick a fight. It has never been our job to clean up your messes.

You’re not the first person to try and sway me on the matter. That can’t be a surprise to you. And he wouldn’t apologize for not being involved. From what I can tell, war is on the horizon. And you’re here to try and add the Inhumans to your numbers.

He was at a loss for words for a moment with a perplexed expression. No. Is that supposed to be a compliment?

In my experience, it’s unwise to get involved in situations that were not of our concern to begin with. Black Bolt replied with a slight tip of his head. But I can be convinced for the right reasons.

Black Bolt nodded once in understanding. So I’ve heard. But so far, I’ve yet to see what that has to do with me. He paused. Why are you here?
