she just watches the other third of her best friends ,  blonde clearly impressed at the otherâs skills .   â and hot â â  she comments with a wink ,  slight grin at roisin as there was another thud of hitting the target .   â one of these days ,  gallagher best put us girls on a mission .  i absolutely need to see these knives in action . â Â
âoooh baby, iâm blushing,â roisin sent her best friend a sultry wink - - an action that was uncommon for the typically moody gallagher girl , that is, unless youâre one of her best friends. as another knife sailed past, roisin smirked. â ugh, tell me about it, boo    but one day, one day these knives will see their well deserved action , and it will be glorious. in the mean-time though, my lucky spiky boots are hanginâ up in the wardrobe, collecting copious amounts of dust.â
Unsettled was an understatement. A tingle played his spine like a harp, his heart a violent drum beat â an anxiety symphony. He seldom ventured this way, knowing the field agents would taunt the behind the desk guys if they were to encroach⊠Sometimes it was almost as if the jock and the nerd stereotype still existed. He came to this conclusion as a knife flew by, causing him to cease movement immediately. â I think that there are plenty of cases Iâve studied where statements like that weâre followed with a particular diagnosis. â He muttered, hoping his comments would go unnoticed â he really couldnât afford to find himself in a knife fight.
For most of her life, Roisin had followed her fathers instructions on how to act, how to talk, how to sit there and look pretty, all for the sake of his public image, for the name of the family. It wasnât until arriving at Gallagher Academy that she was given the freedom to be herself - - to be whoever the hell she wanted to be. That was something she was still figuring out. At his voice, a little breath of laughter escaped her lips - out of surprise, mostly. Heâd caught her off guard; despite being the one initiating the conversation, Roisin most certainly didnât expect an answer. âMaybe so, I wonât deny that, after all, youâre the one who has done all the studying,â she replied quietly, giving him a quick, public-image worthy dazzling smile as she walked over to the target to collect the embedded knives, before returning to the table and setting them back out how they were originally: one after the other, perfectly aligned. âBUT: Take away the knives from this equation, and youâre only left with the rhythmic thud, now if you play that back and put it on repeat, wouldnât it give you a similar sense to when youâre listening to whale sounds to fall asleep? Assuming people do that, I dunno, whale sounds are pretty annoying.â
âYou know, anyone outside of these walls might think you sound like a serial killer,â Cole chuckled as he watched her work. He was closer to the target, so he pulled the knives from the wood and handed them back to her. âBut I can appreciate the expert marksmanship. How long have you worked on that?â
Roisinâs lips pursed into something resembling a smile, a small laugh escaping her lips. âI wouldnât put it past them - - Iâve once been told by my own mother i give off â serial killer vibes â. Sheâs a funny woman.â a dark look clouded her face for a moment, as if suggesting otherwise. Grabbing the set of knives off him, she offered one to him, as he continued to speak, and Ro thought for a moment, a frown creasing her forehead. âA little longer than Iâd like to admit, these knives are a little heavier, it took a while to understand the balance and weight of it all. But once you know that, itâs... well, easy-peasy. For me, at least. Iâve always appreciated the fine art to knife throwing.âÂ
she had been there for a while - - - her hands expertly handling the knives, delicately, precisely, with a relaxed smile. this was her comfort. âThere is just something incredibly relaxing--â roisin breathed out, as she threw the object in her hand towards the target, watching it hit the middle with an accomplished smile. yes. â-- about the thud as it hits the board, donât you think?âÂ

evEN MORE THINGS ABOUT HERÂ
Roisin Walsh - but god forbid, just call her Ro, was born on a crisp Novembers evening, in a little town tucked away in Northern Ireland, to two loving, but strict parents who doted on Ro and spoiled her with everything she ever wanted, with conditions. Roisin asked for everything that she could, just because she could, just because her parents would do anything just to please her, as long as she kept quiet and behind the scenes while her father rose ahead. She was the centre of their world; little Roisin, their little rose, their precious pearl. Her father was a local politician with lots of money, so the Walshâs were always picture perfect. Never a hair out of place, always graceful - something Roisin carries with her to this day. She was on a pedestal to be looked at, admired, adored over; but never to be touched. Ro was always at arms length, away from everybody - even if she was standing right next to you. Speak when spoken to, conceal all true feelings. That is something Ro also carries with her.
Some would call her cold or emotionally distant, but for Ro, she was never shown how to properly convey her emotions in a healthy manner. Instead, she was taught to conceal, keep a bright, empty smile with rehearsed lines such as itâs such a pleasure to be here, my father is doing great work, I believe in him - all words with no meaning to them. Whenever something drastic happens, or she doesnât know how to handle the situation, Ro âswitchesâ off until she calms down, usually by pacing the grounds or throwing herself into any sort of training.
School came easily to her - but not easily enough. Her grades were incredible, the learning material was easy so she gave herself extra subjects to study, extra assignments to do, but while she was good, there always seemed to be someone better. Coming second was not a pleasant feeling for her, so her high school nights were spent mostly studying extensively. Ro had to be the best.
Even still, she graduated with honours, and while the small northern ireland town was growing too small for her liking, Ro stayed longer than she should have. It was out of habit - this was her domain, this was where she was a celebrity and everybody knew her. There was a yearning for something else - something more than the life that had been created for her.
The Gallagher Academy was her saving grace, secretly. They found her and without a second look back at the town she had grown up in, Ro packed all her belongings and left without a trace. All her parents are aware of is that sheâs at some fancy Ivy league school in America, doing her family proud.
She has two other siblings, one a few years younger than her, the other one only a few years old. Family had never really meant anything to her until the Gallagher Academy, sheâs slowly learning the important relationships of family.
AES: an empty laugh that makes you question your entire existence, crushing hopes with realistic expectations, always looking picture perfect in the face of turmoil, bright eyes hidden behind over-sized sunglasses, paying without looking at the bill,Â
Sheâs quiet but not innocent, and when she speaks, itâs usually worth listening to. She will crack jokes at the right time, but also keeps everyone at arms length. There is no horrible backstory to how Roisin is the way she is - perhaps, maybe, a little emotionally stunted, and people have a tendency to rub her the wrong way so she comes off harsh. But sheâd do anything for her best friends.
when she gets heated, Ro does have a mean streak - it flares up in her, as a result of her inability to properly navigate her emotions - but with a little help she is learning to control it properly.
Out of her friends, she is considered the dark and gloomy one - mostly due to her quiet demeanour with her incredibly honest outlook. Â
annd thatâs all for now, folks???? i guess??? i dont know just love her (love me)Â
