The yōkai encyclopedia; Akateko Medium: ink pens and watercolor.
An akateko (赤手児, lit. "red handed child") is a yōkai from the folklore of Aomori prefecture, specifically in the city of Hachinohe. The monster is also a legend local to Kagawa and Fukushima prefectures.The monster is described as the red hand of a small child descending from a tree. It is accompanied by the spectre of a young woman at the base of the tree whose beauty lulls unsuspecting passerby into a trance or fever state.

Pokemon watching; mountain goats 10th of November, 2016. Pokemon: Skiddo and Gogoat Location: Forte Pozzacchio, Italy.
Skiddo is thought to be one of the first Pokémon to live in harmony with humans, it has a placid disposition. If it has sunshine and water, it doesn't need to eat, because it can generate energy from the leaves on its back. Both Skiddo and Gogoat inhabit mountainous regions. The latter can tell how its trainer is feeling by subtle shifts in the grip on its horns. This empathetic sense lets them run as if one being.

Pokemon watching; house cats 20th of September, 2016. Pokemon: Glameow and Purrloin.
With its sharp glare, Glameow puts foes in a mild hypnotic state. It is a very fickle Pokémon. When it's happy, it demonstrates beautiful movements of its tail, like a dancing ribbon. Purrloin steal from people for fun, but their victims can't help but forgive them. Their deceptively cute act is perfect.

Pokemon watching; the field of auras 4th of September, 2016. Pokemon: Cutiefly.
“Cutiefly can detect the auras of living things. They search out flowers by the color and brightness of their auras and then gather their nectar and pollen. When living creatures are excited, it seems that their auras resemble those of flowers in full bloom. As a result, these Pokémon tend to gather near people or Pokémon feeling particularly happy or sad.”
