[[I’m surprised things are still being sent here like ??? I haven’t posted/shown any major activity on this account in like 5ever??? Minus to check in on a blue moon?

I still love the Onceler fandom, don’t get me wrong but I have like zero muse for any of my boys here. They’re all good guys, but they don’t really have any story left to continue unless I completely reboot them and even then I would most likely keep it limited to a select few of them. I think one of my biggest issues was I had too many characters going and not enough long-term ideas for them. :| Idk. They have cute boyfriends/significant others though and I don’t want to reboot them and screw that stuff up.

“Was it just the aphrodisiac that we lifted? Damn, i thought we got off with some more interestin’ stuff…though the ones we have can still be useful..” Beat mused, trying to make light of the bad situation. “Hmm, did you guys keep any of the tech or vials in boxes or somethin’ ” Maybe they could find something in those that could help Garret out of his strange situation. Slowly Beat stepped forward again and wrapped him hands around Garret, resting his head against his chest. “ ‘nd yes, i do remember that time, i was in your body, 'nd it was absolutely amazin’~”

“I think Percival might’ve saved some of it, but if he did then it’s in a storage container and not here. We’ve had to prioritize what space in the house goes to what. It’s not like our factory used to be, after all.” Garret’s tail twitched and followed his arms in wrapping around Beat to hold him close. “It was pretty amazing. But anything involving you tends to be that way.” He grinned, baring those wickedly sharp teeth of his. “The form’s not bad, though. It’s not something we have to fix right away with a mission impossible-esque routine...hopefully i just kind of, y’know...goes away after awhile like most greyface magic tends to.”

“That sucks man, i would of said that you wouldn’t have to worry about fuckin’ grayfaces, but i guess they never leave you alone.” Beat watched Garret’s new hair flow and ooz before he planted a kiss on the other’s chin and gently pulled away from the embrace as he let out a long sigh. “it’s a shame we can’t sneak into the lab again ‘n see if somethin’ in there could’ve helped… Hmm, maybe those vials that we lifted from the lab can help, if you’ve still got them after all this time?”

“The vials? All I remember is we ‘acquired’ a couple vials of some crazy aphrodisiac and yes, I still have those. Never found a good way to use ‘em.” Garret figured they’d find a use for them eventually, so he had opted for saving them instead of tossing them out. If not, they could be kept around as mementos, little things to bring out and say ‘Do you remember the time...?’

Because of some shenanigans on tumblr,

I would advise everyone to try and hold off on drafting things or sending/answering messages for a little while. Even if you don’t have a problem yet you probably will without even realizing it. It would suck to be ten finished replies in and drafted only to realize that they’re not drafting at all and having to redo them all. Drafts aren’t saving in the drafts folder and messages aren’t showing up in the ask, not even on mobile. Just save yourself frustration and trouble for a couple of hours and hopefully the problem will be sorted.

Beat quickly shook his head as he tried to compose himself, Garret was obviously not comfortable with his new form and he knew that he wasn’t helping by gawking at him like he’d just killed his dog. Slowly he stepped forward and carefully wrapped his arms around Garret, holding him close in a warm embrace, hoping to make him feel a little better. “I’m doin’ alright man, just been missin’ you.“ He responded as he rested his head against Garret’s chest. “So…apart from the damn grayface’s magic, how’s life been treatin’ ya?“

Garret seemed to relax a bit when Beat hugged him, his own arms coming up to return the embrace. “I’ve been missing you too. I was going to come pay you a visit until, well..this happened.” He tipped his head to the side, his hair oozing as it followed the move of his head. “Other than grayface magic, life’s been alright. Uneventful up until this transformation and your visit, really. Stuff just doesn’t happen around here anymore.”

do you think beat and orpheus will ever make amends?

“I doubt it.” Garret answers with a shrug. “But why would they? Orpheus has been a sleaze as long as I’ve known him, he’s tried to do plenty of nasty things to Beat....why the fuck would anyone ever make amends with Orpheus?”

Beat took a step back in out shock, not expecting Garret to be so different. He just stood there and stared at Garret in silence, he’d expected him maybe to have swapped bodies with Orpheus again or the grayfaces had gave him bunny ears, but not something so…drastic. “Er…hey…they really did a number on you, didn’t they man?” Beat as he tried to break the awkward silence that was forming.

Garret was obviously not very confident or comfortable in this form, shifting uneasily as silence formed between them and Beat stared. “Heh...yeah. They, um...thought it would be funny if they turned me into the same kind of creature Smog-..er, Sirius is, said it was indefinite even. It’s a lot to get used to. Tail and the things on my back in particular.” He sighed, and tried to offer a grin. “But that’s enough about me. How are you? It’s been awhile since I’ve seen my favorite musician.”

-knocks on the door to Garret's room, rocking on his heels as he waits for the other to answer-

“Just a second!” Garret called from within the room. The sound of something metal being dragged along the floor could be heard in company with his footsteps as he approached the door. Instead of opening it wide in greeting, he cracked it open, just enough to peek out and see who it was. “Oh, hey Beat!” He greeted, a familiar flash of enthusiasm seeing him before hesitance crept into his gaze. “Just a bit of warning, um…the grayfaces did a little bit of their magic, and um..don’t freak out too badly, alright?” He figured he’d warn him in advance, the door creaking open wider to reveal the state he had been changed into. “So…hey.” He greeted with a awkward wave.

(Hmm...Garret as a Creperum? I think I could manage this...)

A poof of magic came and left, and Garret coughed and waved his hand to clear the smoke. He stopped as he noticed his fingers had ripped through his gloves, dark taloned fingertips replacing his normal ones. He looked down, finding blackened clawed feet and an old iron-colored metal tail coiling around one leg. He looked back, seeing weathered iron smokestacks upon his back, coughing up sputters of grey smoke. He hesitantly stepped towards a mirror, speaking at himself.

Black and gold eyes stared back, dribbling waxy obsidian down his cheeks. His hair looked like it was coating in a neverending supply of hot wax that sluggishly drooled and fell in thick globs. He opened his mouth, revealing jagged teeth, one set layered in front of another, forming a saw-like pattern of wicked ivories. A gold and black tapered tongue flicked out briefly before he closed it again.

“...How am I going to explain this one....?”

Important: Need Financial Help

I don’t want to be ‘that person’, the one who looks to people for money help. But I’m at a point where I need to be that person.

Let me explain my situation here: I don’t work. Due to the scheduling of my father with his temp. nursing jobs, and the long work hours my mom has during the afternoons/evening, I can’t work. Someone has to stay home to keep an eye on my sisters and make sure they’re okay, and I have to be that person. Even without that being the case, anxiety has rendered me incapable of driving, which makes going to/coming home from work without my parents difficult if not impossible.

I need some help getting together enough money to take my computer in to get serviced and get a copy of Windows properly installed on it. At the very least, I need help getting enough together to pay my father back for the copy of Windows he bought, which may very well not be a legitimate copy -which I will never hear the end of from him-. I need at least $60. To those who would want something in return, I am more than willing to do commissions for those who help me. They may need to wait until my computer is up and running, but I promise I will get them done. You can contact me via fanmail, or through e-mail at [email protected]

Alright guys, I’m going to level with all of you: I really don’t have the muse for my characters here anymore. The only two I can seem to find a smidge of muse for is Garret and Tech anymore. I love my characters, but I think, for most of them, they’ve run their course and reached a point where I cannot think of anything else to do with them to add to their stories or development.

So, I will keep my blog open and I will continue to RP with people with Garret and Tech. The others can be requested, but I do not guarantee how much I’ll be able to push through with them.

This blog has been around since March of 2013. It’s managed to chug along for a lot longer than I thought it would, and I’m very thankful to the friends I’ve made here. However, every character has a point where their stories end, and I think I’ve reached that point with many of my characters here.

Beat buried his face into Garret's shoulder which muffled his pitiful sobs as Garret wrapped his arms around him. "I d-don't even w-wanna t-touch that fuckin' thing a-again man." He choked out between sobs. "I-I j-just wanna g-get outta here m-man..."

“Shh, it’s okay. Come on.” Garret gently pulled back, hand taking hold of Beat’s as he led the way to the door. He collected the mask along the way, giving a sharp whistle as Percival passed by downstairs. “Percival, burn this thing for me, please.” He called, tossing it over the railing of the stairs and watching as he caught it. With that, he just guided Beat down as quickly and safely as he could until they were in the comfort of his own room, away from everyone else…especially Orpheus. He pulled Beat back into his arms, quiet but comforting, trying to calm the musician down.

Tech looked up when he heard her, pausing in his typing. “Ah.” He didn’t greet her as he usually did when she visited, not sure what the topic of conversation would be about. “What do we need to talk about, Elise?”

Tech bit back the feeling that threatened to loosen a few tears of his own. He leaned down as low as he could so he could be close to her level. “I’m sorry you felt that way, Elise. But I respect it. I love you, and I will always see you as my daughter.” He hesitantly held his arms open, a silent request for a hug but unsure if she would be willing to give one. “And I wish you the best in whatever you do or wherever you go.”

Blinking so she could see past her now blurred vision, Elise accepted the hug and held Tech close before braiding a piece of his hair. “…I love you too…” she sniffled and hugged the guardian for a good ten seconds before pulling away. “Just no eating innocent people.”

“I won’t eat innocent people.” Tech offered a slight smile and chuckle and eased back as she pulled away. “I may eat any of the rare gray skinned creatures with glasses that come around and harass me, but I won’t eat innocent people.”

I am sorry I have not been a great father and spent more time with you.” Tech sighed out. His expression held…sadness, disappointment?…but understanding. “If you believe you cannot live here anymore…I won’t push to make you stay. You’ve matured a lot in the time I’ve known you, and I know you know what you want more than anyone and can take care of yourself. You are always welcome back here, though, whether it’s for a visit or you need a place to crash or hide out in for a spell.”

I appreciate everything you did for me, but now…” she sniffled and lapped her lips before talking again. “I need to move on…I can’t stay here; not near a town or a city like you do…I found a place to stay for now…You’ll always be my legal guardian though.”
