finished the last 6 bags!
Like to charge, reblog to cast
another bag done! (swapped to my gold glide thread to make it match better)
Heshir B/W update
welp my wrist is DEAD! all jokes aside the B/W shading turned out great for this! and in only 4 hours too!
Heshir Speeddraw update at 200X
first time making a speed draw vid! still a WIP (no sound to try an keep it under the file upload limit size!)
BONK was the answer!
the Janome L344 is now fully running again! I can FINALLY try threading it up and see how this baby preforms for me, I've never sewn with this thing
machine update for the L344
sounds fabulous! (it WAS the bobbin docking area that needed to be cleaned and re-seated to stop the clackity's from last vid) next big issue is its currently stuck in a hard left position and nothing is moving it so I'm gonna have to get under its chasse again to figure out whats seizing it and get the needle wiggly and shift-able next
got my mitts on a very cute Janome L344 as part of a sewing gig I scored! gave the unit as best a cleaning job as I could with my Q-tips/ 70% rubbing alcohol and paper towels before using high quality machine oil to lube everything up again! (it's amazing just how the original lubricant becomes a sticky tar like substance with age! the reverse stitch button was nearly seized before I started cleaning)
just reminding myself for tomorrows onslaught of skinning that I'm on "Stubby 10" with smoothing needing to be 1.000 x20 per feather, and I also have to (once every feather is done separately) skin the upper wing limb micro-feathers to follow the outer and inner feathers movement to prevent clipping... skinning is fun... skinning is enjoyable...skinning is a NECESSARY part of rigging...the fact that I do things via set weights and my preferred plugin is busted beyond repair thus making me to this 100% manually because the painting method sucks ISN'T making this hell on earth... I'm fiNE!!!
when you spend hours skinning (manually I don't WP) and THIS is the result...ugh there should be more!
