This was for an assignment
I stood outside staring up at the massive marvel of a place. The birds chirped loudly behind me. The mist clinging to and tingling what's left of my arm hairs, humidity making my destroyed shirt cling to the cuts on my bloody skin. I shouldn’t do this., The roof looks like it's going to cave in. But the new part of my brain, the better part of my brain, reminded me of the truth: wWhat other choice do we have?
I stepped onto the porch, immediately I felt the wood splinter beneath my feet. This isn’t going to hold me. I take another step. I feel the splinters of wood penetrating my bare feet but it didn’t really matter. I already had much worse injuries to worry about. I took another step and the wood cracked. This won’t hold me. I shifted my weight back. I felt something wet drop on my foot as I looked down. It was the red goop coming from my mangled arms reminding me why I had to keep moving. Shifting my weight back, I continued forward, the floor squeaking and buckling under my weight. After a few carefully placed steps making sure I didn’t step on any weak spots. I finally reached the door. It was humongous, dark brown, and positively falling apart at the seams. The door had red paint falling off of it and it appeared as if when I touched it the door would simply turn to dust. When I put my hand on that cool brass door knob all it did was shriek like a thousand tortured souls. Stepping inside I was hit by a wave of cold air. Immediately I went from dripping sweat to shivering. You don’t have time for this, just find a first aid kit call for help and we’re out of this mess. I was going to look for a first aid kit, I really was,I mean I needed it but then, like magic,I flew toward what looked like one of those old timey theaters. Crash my body flew through the closed doors, bits of wood crunching and splintering into my open wounds. I tried to stand but I could barely think. My arms felt like lead keeping my eyelids open felt like a workout. Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad if I just…
I peered out from under my eyelids gazing around looking for something I couldn’t remember. Mustering up my strength I put my weight on one of my feet and immediately regretted it, sharp bits of wood poked at my feet and in my gashes. I felt hard pieces of something pressing against my mussels as they contracted. I fell back to the spot I was in before gasping for breath, pain ripping through my body. After a few minutes the pain subsided and I tried again. I put one foot forward and pressed using all my strength to get up. Black spots danced around my vision.
Once my vision cleared I realized that it was completely dark except for the light coming from the broken door behind me. Why is that door broken? That seems like poor management. I looked around for a flash light or anything. Behind me I found an emergency flashlight tucked behind broken glass. Seriously, who runs this place and why am I here? Turning the flashlight on it flickered once, twice, it buzzed feeling like it was going to explode but it didn’t so I kept searching around. I swung the flashlight around, illuminating the dancing particles in the air. Looking forward I saw the strangest thing. Well the seats were ripped and falling apart the stage was in almost perfect condition. The only thing was the curtains were covered in a thin layer of dust. The part where the window was projecting the glow of the moon was lighter than the rest. I took a deep breath and placed one foot in front of the other. A new wave of pain shot through me with every step. By the time I reached the stairs I was panting and hunched over the cuts on my back stretching and pulling.I took a sharp breath through my clenched teeth and took a step down the rotting stairs. All the sudden I hear the most beautiful sounds ever coming from somewhere. I hear the bass, the cello, the violin, and the sounds of happiness.I hear an impatient child asking if they were almost done. I hear a teenage girl giggling with her friend. I hear two old people humming the tune of the song.
Then the music stops and all the people become incoherent. A whisper that somehow seems so loud booms through the theater sending a sharp shake down my spine and making my cuts scream.
I made this in 5th grade, its really bad :(

Historical fic or Fantasy essay
The last thing she remembered was a sharp pain in her side and it all going black, Now she was back in her room it was a plain Vantablack ,It absorbs 99.965% of light, room, You could barely see anything, but she liked that room because that is when her friends could come everyone told her they didn't exist yet they also keep asking her questions about them, and like clock work a lady in white walks in her face unfamiliar to the girl she looks young in her 20s at the latest the girl could not find what was weird about her same tight slick back bun she was blond but there were many others with blond hair then she saw it her posture she was new to the field a nervousness hung in the air as the girl studied her Finally the lady in white started speaking
"Hello 3, my name is Liz, I am here to ask you a few questions,"She calmly stated she had a slight country accent .
Then, Liz did something no one had done in a long time, she sat down with the girl. Trying to wipe the surprise off her face, this 'Liz' Really was a odd ball first she was nice to her then she sat down with her, odd ball,
"Soooo," Liz continued "I hear from the other nurses that you don't like to cooperate. That's fine I didn't like to talk to when I was your age so lets start small. Did you have any pets?"
The girl didn't want to hurt the odd woman's feelings so she responded "Well Frank is a cat, he was hit by a car"
"What kind of cat?"
The girl gave her a puzzled look. " The good kind I think?"
Liz laughed "I meant what color was his fur."
"Oh" The girl felt embarrassment rise to her face "He was orange With black spots"
"I had a hamster when I was younger," She smiled "my neighbors dog ate him and for some reason returned the mangled body.....traumatizing for a six year old, " She smiled and checked her watch then stood up “well that seems to be all for my time, I haven't even ate my lunch” she pulled out a sandwich and tossed it to the girl “For if you get hungry” she reached the door before leaving she turned back “By the way this never happened” She pressed a finger to her lips and winked before stepping out.
“She seems like a weak link,” said a young male British accent from the shadows.
“JERRY!!!” The girl yell whispered
“What? Harold said it” Jerry, who was hiding behind his twin brother ( Florps ) legs, said
“Harold, what did we say about copying other people's voices and framing them for stuff you did?“ The girl scolded but couldn't seem to find him. The girl shifted her focus to Mr.Shpinkalbottom who ,to no one's surprise, wasn’t paying attention, which was fair he couldn't understand you unless you spoke with his accent. The Girl prepared her best Shpinkalbottom accent (A.k.a British with a heavy lisp) “Doith (Do) you know where Harold ish (is)?”
Mr.Shpinkalbottom Adjusted his monocle “Shpinkalbottom believes Harold ish (is) on de (the) sheiling (ceiling)”
“Shfank (Thank) you” The girl said with a slight giggle a man in a grocery store uniform slid down the wall looked at Shpinkalbottom and mouthed ‘Snich’ turned to the girl and said “The twins dared me”
The girl looked at Harold confused “Twins?” Harold opened his mouth to respond “wel—--”
In the next second Harold was on the floor with Florp on top and on Harolds mouth He angrily whispered something in Harold's ear it seemed to shake him up gradually going from smug to terrified Florp got off walked over to his brother then Harold said something that pushed the situation off the edge
“What's wrong Walter?” Florp turned around and said something that made no sense to the girl but perfect sense to everyone else “Rule 147, you violated the nickname policy”
Then the girl blacked out it was different this time there was no sharp pain she was just gone when she woke up Jerry was asleep in Florps lap and Mr.Shpinkalbottom was staring at the wall (which was normal for him) but Harold was nowhere to be found So she asked “wheres Harold?”
Florp looked up “who?”
“You kn—” The door opened.
The girl quickly hid her sandwich as all her friends left. She ran to the couch in the corner and looked up. It was Liz with someone else gray hair and floppy arms with wrinkles all around. The old lady said “This is Number 3 she has schizophrenia and her name is Samantha” The girl peeked around the couch and said in a voice barely above a whisper “Its Sam, no one call me Samantha”
“Sam is A improper name” The old lady said with a sneer Sam ducted begged the couch to hide from the meanness “Stop hiding your 15 not a child” she didn’t leave her hiding place and the old lady never looked instead she scoffed and told Liz ,who Sam forgot was there, “Lets go look at the other patients” and after they left the girl felt her stomach rumble she looked at the sandwich and made a decision ,the next time someone came in I'm taking my chance and leaving. Her friends retired a second later and asked her what happened when she talked about the schizophrenia thing Florp and muttered “They still think we are hallucinations” Which made Jerry laugh and made Shpinkalbottom confused “Shpinkalbottom doshnt (doesn't) undershtand (understand)” The then Sam said a thing she never thought she would say “Me to ,Shpinkalbottom” she turned to Florp who was covering his mouth with a hand “What did you mean?” she asked
“Nothing forget I said it ” he said too quickly, then he said “lets leave Sam’s lunch is coming” they were all gone a second later.
When her lunch arrived a minute later she was ready the door opened a voice said “Your lunc—-” she didn't hear the rest because she was running she ran so fast her legs hurt A alarm blared in the background people yelled she had memorized a map she stole from a guard she turned the bathroom she ran in ignoring the screams she was running she ran toward the window and yanked it open A hand grabbed her foot she kicked the hand let go she dove through the window and ran into the woods she found a small town and ran in Samantha was never seen again.
2 YEARS LATER
Sandy was a barista at the local coffee shop. She was 17 , had mid-long black hair and had a weird habit of sneaking up on people. When she got back to her apartment she got a strange greeting: "You need a hair cut”
“JERRY, that's rude!” Florp exclaimed
“It's also coming from a guy who never needs a hair cut” Sandy / Sam added
“Chaning subject , were out of milk”
“I walk into my house a walk back out” she said well sighing and closing the door
She walks to the store remembering how hard it was to change her identity and make a birth certificate which slowly morphed into wondering how hard it would be to do it again
As she was thinking she took a wrong turn into a aly of stray cat So she did the obvious thing and tried to pet one but the perfume she was wearing made the cat mad so in the next second she was attacked (Im not going into digitals but it was painful) She passed out when she woke up she was in a hospital bed and Florp was there also A blond guy with claw marks all over his body he said “oh your awake”
“Who are you?” She asked
“Nainn”He said “dog attack,Florp was the Black plague same with Jerry an— ” She cut him off
“What are you talking about?”
“You haven't figured it out yet?”
She shook her head
“The cat attack?”
She was even more confused
“You're dead, we all are.”
“WHAT?” she exclaimed ,Nainn looked guilty
“Sorry I probably should have said that differently” He, wait no she, there hair was now long and brown and she had more feminine features
(I never finished it, I got bored)
(also I know it wasn't clear but Nainn is a shapeshifting genderfluid they are my first gender fluid person so IDK)
This is like really old
The Fog at 6:10
It was quite a cloudy day on Sixty-Seven Lane, the empty houses lining the street, all except one that was all the way down the block, slightly worn down by the elements. No one wanted to live there for some unknown reason. Izzy and her friend Autumn are walking to Izzy’s house to work on a project.
“Wow, this is creepy and empty,” Autumn commented.
“Ehh, it's just because people don't like the name of the street,” Izzy said, like she's said it a thousand times. *Crack*
“AHH,” Autumn screamed, their scream echoing through the block.
Izzy turned around so fast that her Half up half down hair hit her in the face. She sighed, whipping pink hair out of her pink lip gloss, “Just a light going out.”
“Ohh,Sorry,” Autumn muttered, wiping her hands on her black and gray striped sweater down to her denim cargo pants. She awkwardly reached up to play with her blue, messy jellyfish hair cut.
“It's ok, let's continue. If we don't get home in time, my mom will get worried,” Izzy replied, sliding her hand into her Halloween-themed sweater, refusing to make eye contact. Suddenly, she got this scared look in her eye. She turned toward Autumn, “What time is it?”
“6:07 ,why?” they asked, getting scared because of her friend's sudden reaction. Izzy muttered something under her breath. Autumn was pretty sure her mom wouldn't approve of
“We have to move now,” She grabs their hand and starts running down the street.
“Why?” Autumn asked
“The fog, I'll explain the rest later,” She says, out of breath.
“Fog?” They looked back and saw a thick green fog running down the street. The fog was so thick that it consumed everything in its path. The old houses that were there a moment before were gone, covered in that thick fog. The fog is coming in quickly. They only have at most a few seconds before the fog reaches them, and their legs hurt from running for so long.
“THERE,” Izzy yells. They both run up to a house; it's the only one not withered. They run into it, the door slams behind them, and the room that stands before them is almost empty, with a couch in the corner that looks like it has been slept in for years.
“Ok, mind explaining what's going on?” Autumn looked over at Izzy. She sighed, sliding her hand out of their hand and sat down on the beat-up couch.
“Come and sit down,” so they walked over, came and sat down next to her, sliding their hand back with hers. “Well, it all started 15 years ago, I was only a baby, not even a year old. It was a sunny day in July, and there was an unusual fog. Then, at 6:07 pm, the fog started to change. It got thick, so thick you could barely see through it. Then people started going missing, one by one. People would just vanish. The only people who lived through the experience were the ones who were inside their house, which was only me and my mom,” her voice cracked with the last word, “Ummm, I need to use the bathroom.” Izzy quickly slid her hand out and raced down a hall Autumn didn't even know was there.
They could tell that their friend didn't need to use the bathroom, but they could also tell that she needed a minute alone so they took that moment to look around. there was a fridge full of food, a couch with two large book shelves filled with books in front of it and peeking down the hall they saw the door that Izzy had ran into so they assumed that it was the bathroom. Autumn then realized that they were still wearing their backpack and remembered why they came to Izzy's in the first place, so they went and sat down on the couch and pulled out the paper, clay, and pens and pencils.
“Why do you have a blanket and clothes in your school backpack?” Izzy appeared behind them.
“Ohh, in case I get cold at school,” Autumn lied. Izzy knew that was a lie, mainly because her friend was looking down and mumbling, but she didn't push it. “So I figured we could work on the project well we wait for the fog to pass,” they suggested
“Ya, it's about the French Revolution, right?” She asked
For the next few hours, they worked. Izzy built the guillotine, and Autumn built the nobles.being beheaded both out of clay. They both wrote up the report about why the people rioted. Izzy wrote about what else was going on in the world at the time, while Autumn wrote about how France changed after the revolution. “Hum thats strange”Izzy said panic slowly rising in her voice “normally the fog is gone by now”
“Well I guess I'm not leaving tonight then”Autumn said with a bit of nervousness as they tried to calm their friend down “Ya guess so i mean you already have a sleeping bag”She said eye brow raised. Autumn sighed “Ill tell you eventually just not now”
“Ok fine, But in the meantime its only 9:00 so do you want to read a book that's all there really is to do here”
“Wait, I never really thought about that, why is it so empty in here ,where's your mom?”
Izzy looked down at the floor “well originally the fog just never went away ,for like 6 years, then my mom one day she just walked into the fog no explanation then it cleared up the fog went away, I guess it needed another sacrifice or something I really don't know, I also don't know were all the stuff went one day I came home from school when I was 7 and almost everything was gone there were no signs of forced entry almost like the fog took it to” she surged “I dont know alot about this stuff all I know is to not touch it” “Wow thats alot of info” Autumn said “Any way can I take a book from you’
“Ya what do you like”
1:00 am
“We should probably go to bed ,right ?”
They yawned “Ya,hey the fogs still out”
“Shut up, if I think about that I won't be able to fall asleep” she said groggy, her eyes closing
The next morning
“Wait I've figured it out it won’t leave because both of us are here”Izzy exclaims
“Wait what"Autumn said looking confused
“The reason It didn't leave the first time was because my mother was there so she left and the fog left and now there's two people again so the fog won't leave” Izzy explained
‘Ohh so I have to leave”
“No I do”
“Why you I was the one who came Im the extra person”
“Well im the one who brought you here so I should go”
After a Few minutes of back and forth
“Fine, how about we both leave,ok” Izzy compromised
“Ok that seems fair” Autumn agreed
“Wait are we arguing about who should die”
“Ya, and? That what we've come to”
Izzy sighed which turned into a laugh in second they were both on the floor dying of laughter
“Ok,ok we should probably proceed to our deaths” they opened the door for her
“thank you” she said with a fake bow
“My pleasure madam” they said sarcastically
They walked out side hand in hand mist tingling there skin
“Its quite peaceful out I don't mind going out this way” Izzy said reaching up and pulling her hand through the fog
“Ya to bad I can't see more than a foot in front of me, but ya I thought it was gonna burn our skin or something”
“Whoa look at our hands”
They looked down sure enough their hand were disappearing turning to dust
“You know this reminds me of that seane in whats it called, ummm, not wicked”
“Hocus Pocus 2”
“Ya that one ,Not gonna lie I thought it would be faster”
“Why” Izzy said
“Why What” They asked
“Why aren't we scared I feel like since we are dying there should be something"
“Ohh I donno. ohh and before I forget” Their body slightly tensing before softly pressing their lips against Izzy's landing like a rocket, fitting together like puzzle pieces, flesh against flesh, two uncoordinated beings disappearing not to be remembered by the world. They were not afraid to meet death, why would they be? They had no family to miss, no friends to mourn them, only each other, and they were leaving together.
Im posting everything on my google docs
There was an old lady on Hinkeren Road. She had hair that went down to her waist, but it had long gone white. She had beautiful features that had been stretched and sagged by mother time. She always wore this long hanging amethyst necklace. She had long, delicate, hands that cured and cared for all that they touched, and had perpetual dirt clinging under her nails. No one really knew her; she was just the lady down the road, the person that lived in the house with a garden, who would shake her fist and yell if you got too close to her lawn. Some on the street (mostly children) thought she was a witch, some thought she was just an old lady, but most paid her no mind at all. She had a schedule: go outside, water the plants, then spend the rest of the day sitting on her chair and grumbling whenever her neighbors waved. She would sit in the chair for hours, so when her neighbor found her dead, it was no surprise she was right there in her chair
The funeral was small; it was her priest and a couple of people who felt bad she never married and had no kids. The doctors said she had had a heart attack, and had been dead for hours before anyone had noticed. It was a closed casket, no one cried at the funeral, no one knew her well enough to do so honestly. There was awkward small talk and then, with a thunk of dirt, people walked away. That was the end of her story; she had died alone in her garden; she was just an old lady after all, why would they care?
There was an abandoned house on Hinkeren Road; it was old and overrun with plants. No one wanted to go there except of course, teens who were livestreaming it to their followers. The first teens who did it had 10,000 followers. The door was unlocked and it was easy for them. It was a normal house. They considered turning off the stream and leaving, but they had driven all the way out there, so might as well continue. One of the guys spotted something, a box filled with old letters. They were from the time of the great war and there were thousands, so like the people they were, they started reading. Because, well, her story was over. What even was it?
Dear, Phosphorus Ysw/6/14
It has been two weeks since we last saw each other, and I feel a deep sorrow, for I am unable to braid your hair. I know you have said in your last letter that you wish to cut it, and I ask you not to cut it too short for it is as bright as the sun it is as soft as feathers Its really pretty I really like it, and I can’t find a poetic way to say that. You shall have to accept that. Anyway, I hope you are happy, for you consume my every thought and it makes it quite hard to focus at meetings. But I am not just writing this because even the slightest breeze reminds me of you. I have exciting news. My father and I are visiting and well, it is for strictly business purposes, but I am certain I can sneak off and be with you for a while.
With all my love, Sulfur
My dearest, Phosphorus Pob/45/16
I know it has been long since we have last spoken but war is burning on the horizon turning everything in its path to ash and well I do believe that we can become phinoxes I worry, for if we stay doves the embers shall burn our wings and consume us. But for now the grass is still wet and we shall be safe for another dawn. I wish to meet this day at the next lunar cycle, you know where
See you Soon, Sulfur.
My dear, Phosphorus Pob/56/16
I have been made aware that the grass was not wet with morning dew but gasoline and I have been made to strike the match I do not wish do so please consider my offer and writer back as quickly as possible
With Love, Sulfur
My Phosphorus / /
I am sorry… it has begun
Sulfur
Phosphorus Pob/57/16
My father is forcing me to marry. He is twice my age PLEASE consider my offer. We are running out of time. I need you to decide NOW.
Your very distressed,Sulfur
My Beloved, Phosphorus / /
It appears you are a phoenix and I am the dove for today my wings will be burned and you shall fly free, reborn again. In this parchment contains my last gift to you. Goodbye I loved you
With all my heart, Sulfur
(In a far away land a group of historians are searching an abandoned castle trying to figure out how the war started in the princess room they find paintings first of two doves then of two phoenix and lastly one phoenix and one dove the dove is being burned in a fire the under the princesses bed they find letters most are just time and dates but a few are letters and ,like the historians they are, they read them.)
My love, Sulfur
It has been a week since we last saw each other, and I miss you, my bird.
I miss your laugh, and the way your smile glows shines brightens the room Actually, I might leave the figurative language to you. My hair has been weighing me down, and I’m thinking of cutting it, but I know you like it, so I will inquire your opinion. I feel bad about wasting so much paper space, so I’m going to draw you
Yours truly, Phosphorus
My Bluebird, Sulfur
It is very concerning what you have heard but I fear that we cannot discuss this over letter and I hope we can meet again soon please write me back
,Phosphorus
To the person who holds my heart, Sulfur
They say you have not written to me in two years, but I do not believe it. I know I was a coward at our last meeting. I was a coward and I hope we can rekindle. I hope this war ends and I can see you soon
Endlessly yours, Phosphorus
My dearly departed, Sulfer
They have informed me of your passing I don't know what to say or why I’m even writing this letter but i think some part of me still doesn't believe them but I was right in my last letter to you i got your letters I love the necklace I swear to never take it off
Your deeply saddened, Phosphorus
(Sorry if thats not easy to read. i tried to space things out but it was better on google docs)

She ran down the hall way feet pressing down into the ruff dirty looking carpet from years of use
(She ran down the hallway dark brown metallic smelling crust pressing into her foot in little shards )
She chased him down the hallway as he ran away
(It was catching up catching up so fast, she could hear its feet pounding behind her )
She caught up grabbing him from behind throwing him on the bed
(It grabbed her, it wet crusting hands grabbing her ankles and pulling her down head hitting the pool of blo- pool of marron)
She tickled him until he was full belly laughing then throw him up and put him up resting on her hip
(She stayed still as it dragged her away)
She held him close, his smile practically etched into her eyes, she loved him she loved her baby boy
(His smile was gone, it was long gone, she was no longer covered in laughter, she was covered in blood, covered in him)
(I wrote this ay 10:30 /9aka like 10? 20? minutes ago so mb for any spelling mistakes)
