#oc problems

I've got this one oc, and everyone, EVERYONE that hears about him is like "Ohhh, I headcannon him as aroace uwu", Love, sweetie, darling, this guy is a whore, if he could fuck, sun up and down thirty times, no rest, no food, no sleep, HE WOULD, also he has a love interest and is clearly in love with the guy. He just knows how to shut up and is a total fucking Dick to everyone else, like, come onnnn there's like at least 20 aroace (or one of those) characters in the story, why would you need to go for the allosexualest of them all? The allosexualest allo to ever allosexual? , he is just a dick I promise TT.

Naming Characters, long story short.

I find a name that sounds nice, I hate the meaning. If the meaning is perfect, I can’t stand how the name looks on the page. And if finally I love both? suddenly it just doesn’t fit the vibe.

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one. Are writers cursed with struggling to find nice fitting character names?

I sit down to write and instead I spend hours scrolling Pinterest like:

"Gothic baby names"

"Cottagecore aesthetic names"

"Victorian names no one uses anymore"

Three hours later: zero words written, forty tabs open, and my main character is still named "Steve".

How do people choose precise heights for their ocs?? Down to the centimeters?? How?? Precise measurements like that scare me

Hello there. I am here to give the pros and cons of having Irish ocs!

Pros:

- í can showcase my culture and language in a non stereotypical way

- I can utilise Irish names

- I can write what I know

- I can use lots of type of historical eras (Celtic, early Christian, Norman etc)

Cons:

- the only voice claims you have to choose from are comedians, rte personalities or Derry girls (pls y’all í need Irish voice claims)
