Just so we’re clear: if you wanted a fiercely progressive Supreme Court justice to fill Scalia’s seat, the time to act was November 2014, when large numbers of young voters failed to show up to the polls and the Republicans took advantage of it to take control of the Senate.

If you want more progressive Supreme Court justices in the future, the time to act is THIS November, by making sure Democratic candidates both hold the White House AND take back the Senate.
