You pushed the rack against the door, pushing and throwing anything on it to act as a barricade. Hearing her footsteps against the wooden stairs, leading up to where you were.
You held in a gasp; seeing the metal doorknob twist repeatedly. Before frantic knocking started to match the booms of lightning.
“Dearest, let me in.” She tried again at the door. “Dearest one. Unlock the door. I promise that I won’t be mad. Please, unlock the door.”
Your eyes darted to the window, trying to pry open the window which was difficult because she had always seemed to ruin points of escape. The cold air smacked the life in your face and lungs.
“Dearest!” She shouted. “Let me in. All will be—“
Your leg dangled out of the window, you were about to put your other leg out and try to hop down the second floor to land on the wet cold, grass. Is what should’ve happened if she didn’t ram her own body against the door—
Broken wood chips flung in the air, she wore a dirty gray tanktop that smelled of oil with faded blue jumpsuit that had hand sewn pieces of different blue fabrics in some areas.
She loomed over you, just by a single yank; she already had you on the tile floor, gasping for air. She walked over to the open window with remnants of a long forgotten piece of grace, the way that her hands were once coated with nail polish were chipped. Her hands grabbed the window and closed it shut before crouching down next to you.
“Dearest one, it’s your fault,” she said. “You made me do this to you. It’s like you want me to hurt you…I just give you my love and this is what I get in return?”
Her hands grabbed your face.
“A selfish person who wants to leave me at every single moment,” she spat out with such contempt. “I love you. You should be grateful that there is someone in this world who loves you with your flaws because nobody in this world will love you after what you did.”
The hot tears ran down your cheeks, staring up at her with each breath running in and out through your lungs that burned with each breath. It seemed as if the flickering of contempt was washed away again with the familiar love that she had been giving you the past months.
“I love you so much,” she said. “So, so much. I know what you’re trying to do, you’re making me mad on purpose, aren’t you? Of course, you are! Besides you need time to relax and I know how to help you.”
She grabbed your shaking leg, pulling out a hammer from her utility belt. She grunted as you kneed her in the face, her head hit the wall as you managed to roll on your side to try and get up.
You hugged the railing of the stairs, stumbling down the stairs. Your hands brushed the doorknob before the sound of something cracking echoed through your head.
Your trembling hands touched your temple, feeling the hot blood dripping down your face onto the rug. Your voice became groans, unable to muster any curse words to give to her.
“It’s okay.” She knelt down to your fallen form. “It’s okay now. I’m here, I’m finally here to shower you in my love that you have been avoiding.”
His hands wiped away the soot from your face, seeing you in front of him; a lamb in need and no proper care. His eyes watered at the sight of you; seeing the bones poke from underneath a thin layer of skin that coated your body and scabs that grew on your skin as if someone ripped out the portions of lambswool.
Greenery of the woods cocooned around you like a distorted cradle; dried leaves covered your skin like a torn blanket. His capotain obscured his eyes, you couldn’t tell where he was looking nor the color of his eyes. You felt him lean closer to you, a sniff.
An unclaimed lamb. He smelled that familiar scent of pine, water and cinnamon—you are a winter lamb. But his hands trembled, peeling off a thin iridescent layer of mucus and blood that clung to your eyes.
“Oh, my child..” he said, ever-so quietly a mixture of distraught and disappointment. “You were just born, weren’t you?”
It was forbidden to cause harm to a lamb, especially one that had barely been born, it was in the scriptures that he had memorized by heart.
He scooped you in his arms, his heart ached at the sight; unable to comprehend the state that you were in. He covered your frail body with his great coat, it was warm inside underneath the thick coat.
Your body was aching, your stomach ached that familiar pain that was becoming your first companion rather than the ordinary feeling of a full stomach being a lamb’s first companion.
It was a long blur. You could faintly hear voices from outside the cloak but it was too warm to budge open the crack to see.
You were clean now and in clothes that somewhat fit you but the warmth was gone. You could faintly hear an argument in the other room—pieces of it that you could hear from the small crack in a door somewhere.
“You know what…harboring? A winter lamb not…”
“You question my judgment in taking a lamb who was recently born?” The floorboards creaked. “When thou seest the naked, that thou cover him, and hide not thyself from thine own flesh? Isaiah 58:7.”
“It is not similar! That lamb is…”
“I cannot turn my back to them. You must leave now.”
You could hear a loud exasperated sigh, footsteps, noises of a wooden door being opened and slammed shut.
The warmth came back, soft and soothing. You could feel a soothing hand in a repeated motion across your scalp that was reeking of medicinal herbs to prevent anymore insects from burrowing in your soft skull.
“Apologies for being late, my child.” His fingers carefully cleaned your still shut eyes. “You appear somewhat better but too frail. You must survive this current winter.”
Your lips were parted open as the warm taste of liquid was carefully poured down your throat.
His hand wiped away the milk from your mouth, a rare smile of content was plastered on his lips. Despite the sadness that remained in his eyes, seeing your fragile state as the thought remained clear as day,’ would you even survive the night? Had he come too late?’
He shook his head at those thoughts but they remained as cracks in the foundation of hope that you’d make it through the night.
“My sweet child, you are strong,” he cooed. “You have to live, I have yet to show you the wonders of this earth. Your father loves you, sweet child.”
His hands pulled you closer to him, wrapped tightly in his arms. The comforting warmth with a filled stomach eased you to a soft slumber.

Your eyes widened at the sight of the blade digging into their skin, the cold splash of realization washed over you. You couldn’t get up from your chair; you could but your legs didn’t move. As if lead had replaced your legs and in return, they would not move.
It was her. All these years later, she was here digging her knife into your ex-spouse’s chest while you sat there; fear coursed through your veins. It was a common method that fear did to you making you pause in moment, she always exploited that little quirk of yours that she always deemed ‘cute’.
A sob choked from your throat as her freckled face looked up at you from her crouched position. Her baggy clothes were bloodied, reeking of that metal tang. Those familiar eyes that stared at you with such devotion and love remained there as if the restraining order didn’t exist anymore.
“[Name]…” She got up; bloody footsteps towards you. “It’s been so, so, so long. 4,380 days to be exact, I kept count…”
“How…why?”
“How? You need me back in your life.” Her bloodied gloved stroked your face; leaving a bloodied drag of where her thumb was on your face. “Why? You’re miserable without me, your life was descending into destruction…Yet, you put that flimsy restraining order on me, did you really think that was going to keep me away from you?”
“I…I..” you trailed off; hands trembling.
“You what?” That smile grew on her lips. “You finally admit that you love me? Or that you’ll take away the restraining order and we’ll be a couple again?
You managed to turn your head away from her but her bloody, still wet hands grabbed your face to pull your eyes back to her.
“I just got you back,” she said. “I’m going to love you so hard that you won’t have any desire of leaving me..”

“You’re my favorite, you know that right?” He handed you, a plate of your sliced up favorite fruit. “Your brother thinks he’s the favorite but it’s you.”
He washed the stained knife and cutting board, wiping his damp hands on a dry rag. Then, he is standing next to you; observing. You wiped away the juices that stained your mouth with a napkin, handing him the plate back as he washed the plate.
He watched your hands sift through the pile of newspapers, coupons from fast food restaurants and advertisements of dental services or new openings of restaurants till they landed on a missing child’s paper. It was the third time this month in the small town where you lived.
He snatched the paper from your hands and crumpled it into a ball, throwing it in the kitchen trash can.
“Useless nonsense,” he muttered.
He pushed back his short orange slickback, your eyes watched his silver watch glimmered in the sunlight of the small crack in the kitchen curtain.
“Don’t you think that it’s useless nonsense?” He walked back to you. “You know where that thing is?”
“I…” you muttered.
“What was it?” He leaned in; closer. “Speak up. Your dad can’t hear you if you’re muttering.”
“I think it’s important…”
“Oh,” he added. “Very well…If you say it’s important than it is important to me as well.”
“When can I visit mom again? She was upset at you for over extending visitation…”
“Your mother…” he tutted. “She’s one of those people who makes lies about me to take you away from me. But, you did have fun?”

"Do you have to go?" Pix was leaning against your back while you tried to make yourself breakfast, you could feel his breath on the side of your neck. "Why cant you just stay here? You'd thought that once he realized you didn't have a use for him he'd leave but he hasn't. In fact, he started crying when you tried to find a spell to force him back. Pix claimed it was because Hell was boring, it didnt have soda or candy or video games and he just couldn't stand it! But the way he clung to your legs in front of your chair, pressing his face into your thighs, gave the impression of another motivation.

He whined and grabbed one of the peices of bacon off the hot pan and eating it as if he'd been starved for a week before wrapping his arms around your middle and asking you to bring home more cherry soda.

Dorothea's intentions are slow and subtle because she has been in the crew for a long period of time and she’s seen the dynamics change. Once her darling is in charge, she is willing to do anything to keep them in charge even if means purposely having faulty plans and equipment.

Dorothea is more of a one darling-kind type yandere person because she is only following who is in charge and feels like her equal in a way but she also wants to be a bit higher than her darling.

Gwendolyn breaks her darling darling by using the children she had with them as a reward for them. As she isolates her d darling by taking out the batteries of clocks, disconnecting the home phones, and removing the calendars around the home and she rubs the salt in their wounds that they’re an unfit parent and to listen to her because that’s how they ever get the children back.

The intentions revealed to her darling are purely by accident as it would come as silly joke from one of the children about her being the Riverside strangler. As instead of shutting it down, she puts fuel to the fire but it’s merely her joking around at the dinner table.
But it doesn’t help if the environment is in her latest victim’s house and she’s setting up dinner. After her darling has helped her set up the house to be tidy after the events of her latest victim which she holds it over their head that they are an accomplice to her murders.

Yes, Thomas does want to build a normal future with his darling.
Thomas' plan is to accept the offer that is darling gave him during the moment of absolute crisis where his darling had found out that their partner was cheating on them. Thomas does give them a chance to back out and he can still pay off their student loans that they acquired during their time in college with no ties needed.

Thomas' intentions are never revealed to his darling because he believes that he’s doing something right by helping his darling out with financial support. ThomasThomas never tells his darlinghis darling about why he chose them or what his plans are because he likes to keep the facade of being helpful to his darling.

ೀ Anko : Do people suspect them to not be sane?
Miss Gillis is suspected to be sane despite her methods of being so warm and welcoming to interns and new experiments that people often forget that she is running a hidden experiment on the people that are deemed invisible to the system.
The tattoo artist in the introduction post is somewhat not sane because she has seen people coming and going with the Monarda initials etched into their skin but she has learned to separate herself from what is going on.
The guards in the experiment are suspected to be not sane but they’re still capable of doing their jobs as the agency provides something that they need and all that the agency demands is silence from the guards to not spread around what is happening in the experiment.
ೀ Manjuu : What matters most to them in their mind when they obsess over their Darling? Love, Protection, Possession?
The only thing running through Miss Gillis mind when she is obsessing over her darling is possession because she wants her darling completely destroyed from the experiments that she designed on purpose to break them down and wants her will to be plastered all over her darling.
The only thing running through the minds of the tattoo artist and the guards when they are obsessing over their darling is a mixture of possession and protection.
The tattoo artist feels this when she has to strap her darling on the table to etch more subtle symbols of the agency’s ownership onto her darling's skin as she often views the ownership of the agency as her own.
The guards in the experiment oddly feel the same way because they don’t know how it started but it grew to where on occasion they would insert themselves to your experiments and act somewhat as a bodyguard but they make sure on purpose that when they enter the experiments that it is never recorded or noted on the notes of the scientists.
Yandere Priest
ೀ Warabimochi : What kind of yandere are they? Do they have some sub-types they fit into?
The type of yandere that the Priest is a mixture of possessive, shackling and love and hate type. The subtypes of the possessive traits that he has are removing nuisances with a specific trait of isolation where the Priest feels like it is his duty to keep his offspring/darling safe from the people of the village.
The subtypes of the shackling traits that he has is overprotective with the variants of Doll & Glassware. The doll variant trait that is developed as a protective mechanism when he first found his offspring/darling in that since he was still recovering from the aftermath of what happened as the doll trait makes him be more doting and doesn’t want them to develop a taste of independence. The glassware variant trait that is developed is a bit of his actual feeling towards his offspring/darling because he is afraid of losing them as he knows what the feeling of loss is and he doesn’t want to feel it again.
The subtype of love and hate type trait that he has is beautiful memories because he acknowledges that his offspring/darling is wanting to gain independence as any ordinary person would, it’s natural but to him. He cannot handle the changes as they often result in sin and he does not want his offspring/darling to get rid of their status as “chosen” to leap into the flames of eternal damnation.

No to the townspeople, the Priest merely appears a devout father who is on the stricter side of ordinary parenting side of methods used during that time but they often see it as the offspring/darling being an ordinary misbehaving child of the town which makes them wonder if they had been feral before being under the care of the Priest.

Clara’s intentions are slow but it’s obvious what her intentions are which is to keep her darling safe and to get rid of anyone who tries to get rid of them because her darling is no longer a human.

Clara will not share her darling with anyone because she knows that nobody can treat nor give her darling the limbs that they need.

Emil is a one of darling-kind type yandere as it was completely love at first sight with their darling and they often view meeting their darling as it was meant to be.

The root of their obsession over Emil’s darling is love despite being distorted, they love their darling so much that they are wanting to do anything to be relevant in their lives by sending them gifts, finding where they like to frequent and getting close to them for once.

Ranvier's methods breaking his darling is subtle because he will use their urge of being useful against them by not using them as much and using another henchman, he will target his darling loved ones that have no connections to the crime world as he often views that nobody is off limits.
Ranvier’s favorite method is to wear familiar jewelry that loved ones of his darling would wear, just to show that his darling knows the consequences of what would happen if they ever had any doubts of betrayal.

Yes because he allows the outcasts of all of the families to join his crew which often leads to frequent clashes between Ranvier and the other heads of the families.

Mae and Julius are both a one of a kind yanderes because they both obsess over one thing which is their darling who is biologically their offspring or fits the role as an offspring.

Yes, both of them believe in punishing their darling but both have different methods.
Mae’s punishment is sort of on the more harsher side as she often will utilize planned ignoring without immediately wanting to give her darling/offspring attention. Mae would embarrass her darling on purpose so they can learn from their mistakes to break the pattern.
Julius’ punishments are more intense in a way, he’s more by the book that he would send them to be without homemade supper or dessert for the amount of time that they’ve been misbehaving. ( ex. 2 hrs = 2 days going to bed without supper or dessert).

Charis’ behavior can be unpredictable at times because he’s constantly evolving to make them stay with him. But if his darling figures his true motives and tries to do something about it, he will not be happy about it as he will take away the privileges only given to them and will wear them down till they’re pliant enough to listen to him.

Charis is a one of darling-kind yandere despite him being a cult leader who engages in multiple relationships. How it works is that Charis has a group of devout followers but his darling is the most devout follower; a position that is sought after which is Charis’ heart.
Yandere Noble Friend, Evangeline

Evangeline is never willing to share because that’s her friend but she will be cordial during public events since eyes are everywhere and she doesn’t want to ruin reputations.

Evangeline is predictable for her darling because they’ve known each other for so long as she unknowingly repeats patterns that she doesn’t know about but her darling knows it to be a pattern but often brushes it off to be ‘Evangeline’s usual behavior’.
Yandere Cheater, Gerald
ೀ Matcha Infused Sweets : Do they forgive escape attempts and ‘tantrums’ or do they stay bitter about it?
Gerald is a bitter man when it comes to escape attempts and tantrums that his darling does. As he often views these moments as his darling being ungrateful for the life that he gives them; a materialistic one. He often resorts to isolating his darling, taking the cash to disappear for a couple of days as he merely waits for your telegram message from the postal service.
ೀ Warabimochi : What kind of yandere are they? Do they have some sub-types they fit into?
Gerald would be a mixture of a possessive and shackling type of yandere. The shackling category that Gerald fits in is a reverse contact where he makes his darling financially dependent on him.
The possessive categories that fit Gerald’s are collector where he views his darling as an object rather than a person, the other possessive category is confinement where Gerald will keep his darling from the outside world only interacting with him and the occasional maids and butlers.

Raye doesn’t believe in punishing their darling because they know that their darling is finally untethering themselves from the weight (Gerald) that has held them down for so long.

Raye does hold many regrets when they look at their darling only for their past faults. As they often blame themselves for coming back at such a late time and how their darling had suffered a loveless marriage that was rotting them from the inside out.

Casimir does believe in punishing their darling because despite his fall from grace, he still expects high standards even if the environment changes. He will always remain his darling of their place.

Casimir does not have any regrets when he looks at his darling, he just loves how occasionally you look out of place whenever you have to go to the Capital of the kingdom to report his wellbeing. Casimir does hold it over their head that they can never return to their family since he ordered his darling to come with him when he was exiled.

Cosmic Entity does want to build a somewhat of a normal future with their Darling. They want to make themselves livable for their darling by any means necessary and purposely changing the directions on their navigation to stay in the safe zones.

Ellison can be predictable when they want to be because their actions show louder than their words and it shows when they want to be predictable and when they don’t want to be predictable.

It depends on their Darling’s reactions because if they react negatively, Ellison will react negatively as well. Since, Ellison only wants to take care of their Darling even if it means hurting them as then they can nurse them back to health.
Yandere Race Car Driver
ೀ Warabimochi : What kind of Yandere are they? Do they have any sub-types they fit into?
The type of yandere that Richard is impulsive because he has done things as a result of things not going in his favor (the accident). The sub-types that he fits in is a mixture of ‘I love how pitiful you are’ which is where his darling is miserable and his love grows more and ‘Imposing ideals / Delusional type’ where Richard’s idea of his darling is not lining up with the actual personality of his darling.
ೀ Mochi : Do they believe in punishing their darling?
Richard doesn’t believe in punishing his darling since he only wants them to succeed even if it means giving them a little shove in the ‘correct’ direction.
