Hello!! I'm Mal (She/they), and I'm currently volunteering at a local Pokemon shelter in Alola. This is my blog where I post various pictures and stories of my Pokemon! :)

Current Pokemon:

Pluto: Male Umbreon that I got as an Eevee when I was younger. He's a bit quiet around new people, but becomes very sweet and snuggly once you get to know him.

Retro: Stray Rotom that I found at an arcade. Likes possessing game consoles and TVs the most, although It also likes to make my alarm clock go off at random times.

Mocha: Female Cubone I recently adopted. Still a bit shy, but she's warming up to us! She likes to dig around in sandpits, and loves having her back spines brushed. (She's the one in my PFP!)

(OOC: A little bit of info on how I run this blog! This blog treats pokemon as if they were real animals, which means they're not sapient in the same way a human is. However, a pokemon can be sapient in the way a crow or octopus is! There are some examples of pokemon being able to talk (such as the rotomdex), but this is just because of the pokedex translating things. This blog is mostly lighthearted, and usually won't go into anything too gritty or disturbing. Any dark subjects will be tagged. Please note that some of my personal headcannons on pokemon biology may conflict with yours! Also remember that the person running this blog is a minor, so no NSFW questions please.)

little fun fact: Mocha is actually a Kantonian cubone, not an Alolan one! we suspect she was probably released by someone before being brought to our shelter, which is something you should NEVER do with habituated pokemon, especially non-native ones.

My first pokemon was technically my family's smeargle, but the first Pokemon that actually belonged to me was Pluto! I got him from a shelter as an eevee when i was about.. 12 I think? We've been together ever since :)

When a rotom possess an appliance like a microwave or washing machine is the appliance still useable? Would the rotom mind?

theoretically? yes, you could use it. would i recommend it? no. rotom are notoriously mischevious pokemon, and when they've possessed an appliance, they tend to use their new powers for pranks. like, sure, you COULD put your food in a heat form rotom, but it WILL get burnt.
