This time last year

It's crazy how much can change in a year. I've lost many friends but gained some amazing ones. I've grown up so much from who I used to be. Before, it was all about partying and raves. But now, I'm thinking of my future and getting my life together. It's not easy being a nursing student, working two jobs, being in a sorority, and just trying to be a good person in general. But I've found my balance and can honestly say that I am content with where I stand and where my future is going. It's great to have fun and live in the moment but even better to know that the future is going to be safe and secure. I know I will not have to struggle with money and will be able to help my parents out and give all my appreciation and thanks to them. I have a loving boyfriend that takes such great care of me. We have two amazing kitties that I cannot imagine my life without. I have my own little family and I cherish every moment of it. Before I know it, I'm going to be having kids of my own. But for now, it's hitting the books and working my ass off for the future that I've always dreamed of. Here's to slowly making my dreams come true.
