Argentum y Tlayolotl deciden realizar una alianza política por matrimonio. Itzel es la reina en Tlayolotl y sus leyes le prohíben casarse con alguien que no sea de su reino y no puede (ni quiere) ceder su poder político. Martín es rey de Argentum y en su reino no importa si se casa con alguien del mismo sexo. Así es como Pedro termina en Argentum como el rey consorte de Martín.

Hay algo extraño en Argentum. Aún no es tan evidente, pero está ahí, presente, como algo que aparece unos días y se va por otros, como  un sonido de fondo, al que podrías no prestarle atención pero que estará ahí, de un momento a otro. Pedro lo siente en el ambiente, en el aire mece las hojas de los árboles, en las vibraciones de la tierra. Lo siente en los animales que rodean la ciudad, porque ellos también perciben lo que ocurre.

The God Wars

In the beginning…

belief and rituals shaped the first gods from the dreams of man.

As the civilizations of man grew, so did the strength and influence of their deities. 

In return for sacrifice, the gods gifted their followers with mystic might.

But the people wanted more than these gifts could provide.

In their souls the people found their own power. They called it “Craft.”

The gods, jealous and afraid,

struck down the firsts of these Craftsmen.

Thus the God Wars began.

But the gods were formed from the faith of man. It was a war they could not win.

And so the Craftsmen took up the mantle of the gods and rule in their stead.
