I hope you’re all doing well!

I’m about to post another chapter soon, but while I’m finishing everything up, I wanted to share a drawing I made a few months ago!

Since Mikey is on my Art Fight profile, I had already made a reference sheet for him that I somehow never posted here… So, here he isssss! 🥹🧡

Honestly, your au is so amazing. I have literally no knowledge or interest in helluva boss but I ADORE your au and I am SO HOOKED!!

AAAH, I’M SO GLAD TO HEAR THAT!! 🥹💖

I’ve actually been working on this AU for about three years now! After all that time writing, planning, and practicing drawing the characters, I finally worked up the courage to post it.

I never expected people would enjoy it this much. 🥹💖

And to be completely honest, I’m not even that big of a Helluva Boss fan myself. 😭 What really pulled me in was the worldbuilding! The different Rings, how they work and all the different power dynamics of the sinners and demons. It’s such a fun setting to build a story around! (It’s also what I’ve studied in literature at school too, so I ended up loving that.)

I’m still learning how to draw all the characters consistently, so there will definitely be more doodles of them in the future! And if everything keeps improving, I’d absolutely love to turn this whole story into a full comic one day. That’s my dream. 🥹💖

Thank you so much for giving my AU a chance, even without knowing Helluva Boss. That genuinely means a lot to me! (๑•́‧̫•̀๑) 💖

I’ve been a little distracted because of Art Fight and I’ve been having a blast drawing everyone’s turtle OCs! It’s my first year participating, so I’ve been spending a lot of my free time sketching instead. 😅

But your reaction absolutely made me laugh. Every time I see “OMS” I already know I’m about to read the most chaotic comment imaginable. 😂

As for your questions… you’ll be happy to know that the next chapter is actually being posted today! 👀 It leans a bit more into the emotional side of the story (or does it…?😇).

Although… I will say this isn’t the most emotional chapter I’ve written. I’ve been writing ahead whenever I have free time, and there’s one chapter later on that absolutely takes that title. I’m not saying when, though. 😏

Also, I haven’t drawn Mikey for this one because I’ve been trying to get used to drawing the other turtles! I think I’ve finally gotten comfortable with Mikey’s design, but the others are still… let’s just say my sketchbook has witnessed some questionable anatomy. 😭

If more questions come in, though, there’s a very good chance Mikey will make another appearance. 👀

Hello!!! I read your story and you don't know just how much I love it (⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠)

Recently chapter 9: dear mikey i hope you suvive with only few scratches, like i wonder what would happen if the other imps finds him first and then either bring him to donnie or do something to him also

I wanted to ask how was their dynamic with eachother before seperation and after reunion (sorry for bad english it's not my mother language)

I still drew them as tots to make it kinda understandable nonetheless! (it took a while to find poses.💔) If you want a clearer answer, I’ll write it at the end of the post!

Clearer answer here: Before they got separated, they were honestly just normal siblings.

They argued over little things, played together, shared whatever food they managed to find, and looked out for one another. Raph and Leo naturally acted like the older brothers, Donnie was the genius observant one, and Mikey was the little ball of energy. (⌒▽⌒)☆

After reuniting, though, it's a lot more complicated.

They still love each other like brothers in the end, but they've also spent ten years growing up in completely different Rings with completely different lives. In a way they're family, but they're also strangers. ☝️

I don't want to say too much about Leo and Donnie because they still have a lot of their stories left to tell, but one thing I can say is that rebuilding those sibling bonds is one of the biggest themes of this AU story. It's not instant, they have to learn each other all over again, that's one of my favorite parts to write. 💪🔥

Short answer (over the fourth wall since they’re going to answer canonically): they’re still good people, but Hell kind of forces everyone to get their hands dirty in one way or another.

More clear answer here: Mikey doesn’t like hurting others, neither physically nor emotionally (even though sometimes it’s required). Donnie eventually does, but it’ll be revealed in the AO3 soon enough 👀. Raph is violent with anger issues, mostly inspired personality wise by Raph 2012, so you can imagine the answer. As for Leo, he does do that, but only to who deserves it in his judgment!
