“And I need you to stay. I need you to stay here in this world. If not for me, for everyone else who’s ever loved you as much as I have. But please, I’m begging you, stay alive.”
pairing . . . park jimin x reader
genre . . . angst, fluff, some dry humor, mystery, thriller of some sorts, fantasy (im not all too sure??)
warning . . . death, talks of death, curse words, overbearing families, talks of reincarnation, talks of christianity, talks of witchcraft, mentions of anxiety and depression, every chapter WILL have a warning pertaining as to what’s in it so don’t worry!
author’s note . . . as much as i love writing smau’s, writing a full fledged story is where my heart is truly at (cheesy). this is kinda of scary to me, releasing a fic like this but im super in love with the plot and where it’s going so i hope you all enjoy! <3
WATCHING THE GIRL you want to grow old with, die, isn’t the way Park Jimin thought his life would go. The bright and sunny boy no longer, not with therapy and school filling up all of his thoughts. He hadn’t even had the time to think of his true love in a while, not until the very dead girl shows up at his doorstep, scared out of her mind.
“Opposite’s attract” is the layman’s term for being very different from someone near and dear to you, whether it be platonic or romantic. There’s such a romance to being so completely different, yet be able to fit among each other like the perfect pieces of a puzzle.
It wasn’t until Park Jimin met Kim Y/N that he experienced the type of love only seen in movies. One which yelled, “Opposite’s attract” at the top of its lungs. One that balanced them out in such an epically beautiful manner, filling their teenage days with enough memories to last a lifetime. It all felt incredibly great, long hours full of studying with one another, going out to a simple cafe, and just hanging out with friends. He was sure it could last forever (which people called him naive for) and he would work hard for it to be true.
It wasn’t until Park Jimin met Kim Y/N that he felt real loss and hurt. Because with her sudden death came the sudden ending of their day-to-day life hiding their relationship, yet, being so pure with one another. Park Jimin knew what it was like to feel so unbelievably heartbroken and lonely. It was almost unfathomable that he’d gotten to experience so much in such little time.
Park Jimin was ready to leave his small town full of memories of her. It was his last year of high school, he was finally doing what he wanted to do most, dancing. He had his entire life planned, one with only him, not the plan he and Y/N had intact. He was almost there, his fingertips were just about to graze the ending he so desperately wanted. But it was not easy being Park Jimin, not when his very dead girlfriend is suddenly up and walking.
