They are so chaotic during runs and somehow they avg floor 35

Midoriya prefers extracting but can help distract easier twisteds while Katsuki jungle distracts and heals (he always veemotes first even if some toons get hit before he can collect the twisteds).

Midoriya also has no sense of spatial awareness in game so he always runs into Katsuki’s circle.

Whenever his rsd flares up, it’s a toss up on whether Izuku will calm down next to Katsuki or try to isolate himself.

Try, specifically, because Aizawa would never let him be alone.

Well, that’s what he’d like to say but a third year high schooler regressing to middle school age is close, tentative, and lacks the ease Aizawa has when it comes to calming a younger Izuku down.

When Izuku regresses to, about 13, it’s right on the cusp of when his negativity comes to a precipice. As he fails to separate his internal voice from ones that aren’t his own.

His problem child locks himself in his room.

While his other problem child, regressed or not, also takes this in one of two ways.

Either Katsuki tries to help Aizawa coax Izuku out of his headspace or he tries to give Midoriya some space.

They’ve ensured that Izuku’s room is safe for him to be in, when he’s alone… so Aizawa’s not afraid on that regard but he knows what a troubled mind can do to a kid.

So whenever he’s ready, they are too. With blankets, pillows, comfort plushies, and anything his kid wants- cause he matters.

And Aizawa would be remiss if he didn’t remind him of such.

Stimming Edition! (this isn’t exclusive to them being littles either !)

Mido:

- In person, he stims in little ways, like muttering to himself! Sadly, he also wrings his fingers a lot. The repetition and sensation keeps him tethered to the moment but if he’s feeling anxious it hurts a little!! Often, his friends are there to notice and subtly give him an alternative like one of his many stim toys!

- Mido’s favorite stim toys being: fidget cube, stress ball, mini palm sized plush he can fiddle with!

- On his own, he flaps his hands a lot and talks a bit more out loud to himself! He is very active in his stims, needing a playful way to release his energy! OFA gives him the zoomies sometimes and he balances it by letting himself stim more freely in his dorm!

Katsuki:

- In person he barely stims. If he ever stims, it’s 100% sensory, 100% quiet, or so subtle the only person that could possibly notice would be Aizawa. But his sensei is also his caretaker so there’s that. He has sensory strips under his desk or on his phone… he finds Mido’s muttering behind him a necessary familiarity- without it he’s more prone to some his more evident stims.

- Katsuki’s overt stims being: chewlery, tapping on his desk like a drum with his pencil, fidget ring

By himself he tends to clean subconsciously either before, in between, or after his assignments. It’s also a way to ground himself. He also pops his quirk, only a smidge!!!, and watches the light show as a visual stim! This is also something Mido likes to be present for!

On some level, they’ve always been kids throughout the series. This was a game to them and when Mido got OFA, Bakugo hadn’t realized he changed the rules.

(As if the rules were ever fair to begin with.)

Bakugo’s behavior and mannerisms being on par with how he was in childhood while he’s in high school. Albeit more quiet and kept to himself. He’s internalizing this confusion because of the new rules at UA. (Any extreme disturbance from him could get him expelled. He can’t be exactly the same Bakugo he was in middle school.) So he looks at Midoriya from afar and keeps to his own friend group. He’s still playing by the old rules- even if Deku thinks he can change them.

Midoriya also growing from his middle school self by actually being allowed to make friends. He hasn’t thought about it that deeply, as he’s probably just grateful this turn of events is in his favor. So he continues to believe in the game, of him and Kacchan doing what they can to become heroes despite the obvious drift between them.

Their roles have always been sort of passive and aggressive respectively. The lines blurring, of course, when the other is in danger to some extent.

They slip more into little space (rather than chronic age dreaming) from time to time. Especially when things are so hectic and so back to back.

But they always slip when they need a break from the game, to find comfort in each other, whenever it gets too much.

Aizawa, little bkdk’s caretaker (Dada for Mido and Da for Kats), has a bit of a checklist to help them when they’re overwhelmed or stressed.

For their bad days he grabs their blankies, pacis, stim toys, plushies- some are all might themed (like the fanboys they are) but some are their respective colors. The interesting thing, he surmises, is how they have each other’s color. Midoriya’s at his calmest with pastel orange or light yellow and Kats with a soothing green.

For all the gray hairs they give him when they’re big, he has a soft spot for how much they care for each other as littles.

He always sets them next to each other, they’re great at calming each other down with some help from him too. Usually this means they snooze or nap a little which also means he preemptively plans for it and places them on either one of their beds. He tends to pick Katsuki’s room as he’s most comfortable in his own even if he cares deeply for Midoriya.

Midoriya’s Fav Shows: Bluey, Pokemon, Yokai Watch, Word Girl, Powerpuff Girls, Team Umizoomi, Steven Universe

Katsuki’s Fav Shows: The Incredibles, Bluey, Pokemon, Digimon, My Little Pony, Octonauts, Wild Kratts, Ninjago

Their interests often overlap and they often watch stuff on the same tablet because watching shows on different tablets is overstimulating. They both have sensory issues and don’t like wearing headphones too much. On top of both of their hearing loss (from kat’s quirk), it’s just easier to share the same tv/tablet/screen.

Midoriya is rarely picky about what they watch but will vocalize what they want to watch if they’re with Aizawa (cg) since Katsuki is often nonverbal.

Midoriya and Bakugo both regress simultaneously, whether they know it or not.

They have different triggers for involuntary slipping but even if it’s on their own- more often than not they’ll regress at the same time!

They seek each other out kinda desperately- being each other’s comfort buddy n everything!!

Sometimes they have a cg (Aizawa) but often it’s just the two of them in Bakugo’s dorm cause no one else goes in there and they can regress in peace.
