I did intentionally lift her name from real life and I know the one from real life is more like BOO but I like how this way sounds, plus it’s less weird to say Bou when it’s more soft like that.

One of the major tragedies of Cole not being able to read Quiz's emotions is that you really miss out on a lot of fun opportunities for Quiz to be involved in the romance-related shenanigans. I mean Cole mildly humiliating them by talking about the sex they have with Bull is great but it's insufficient.

I just think that it would be really good if at some point towards the endgame or more likely at the beginning of Trespasser Cole could say re Alaris apropos of (apparently) nothing "He wants a spring wedding. And kids" while Alaris turns into an awkward, stammering mess because no one is supposed to know he thinks about things like that. He is not a romantic or anything like that. Stop laughing, Varric. This better not go in the book.
